How to Flash Gigabyte HD 6850?

Hello,

I've been searching for a place to get Zeus 2.3 without any success. Could you please help me get it, or is there another way to flash my card?

Thanks in advance for your guidance....

John from S. CA (OC).

you can still d/load it drom
http://www.groths.org/software/zeus/

I have been searching for a 4870 ROM but from reading that page, it looks like you use the original ROM..it seems that you extract it in Windows using GPU-z.
send the extracted firmware to the Mac
run Zeus to re flash the card, now installed in the mac., back with its original firmware..
am guessing that either Zeus or the fact that it is done in the mac flashes the correct info to it

Is that correct?

Is any current card supported anymore? I just got an Nvidia GTX 970 card for my Mac Pro 5,1 (Mid-2010) and I was wondering if flashing it would be better than using the web drivers from Nvidia? It's working ok with web drivers but I am curious if I am losing performance by not flashing it.

No, you will not loose performance when flashing it.
But only MVC can flash it: http://www.macvidcards.com/store/p81/Nvidia_Flashing_Services.html

You have to use Nvidia web drivers for the GTX 970, flashed or not flashed.

At this moment, web driver is required for all Maxwell cards regardless if it's a flashed card or not.

I know this is old, I don't care. The download links are dead. Anyone have a working download? I have this HD 5570 I want to flash.
