Hey everyone, today my AT&T Pre-Paid data plan on my iPad just stopped working out of no where. I contacted AT&T and they informed me that my iPads IMEI has been blacklisted due to suspicious activity. I have no idea why?
I’ve been using this iPad for months, I bought it new, I have the receipts and proof of purchase, I even have AppleCare+ on it.
Unfortunately, AT&T customer service closed on me during a call on hold and before I could get much further in to the resolution.
I’m very concerned. This is a mistake. Has anyone ever had this happen? Why would this happen?
I’m going to call AT&T back in the morning. Just figured I’d chime in on here.
How can AT&T just blacklist your device like that? It’s my iPad lol. I’m confused.
I’m actually panicking very much so. They cannot do this to people.
Ive checked my IMEI on websites and it says it is clean, and on the global whitelist. And my device is not blacklisted.
