iPad Retina iPad Wallpapers Thread

Anybody knows where we can get the original wallpapers from the new iPad? Can't find them anywhere and would love to have them for my Mac.

Is there anymore good wallpaper sites that have the proper resolution? The ilikewallpaper site is good and I've found a lot of sites are just up scaling 1024x1024.

This is one I've redone from a popular iPhone wallpaper several months ago.

May I have the iPhone version of this? This looks really nice on the new iPad, would love to have it for my iPhone 4S. Thanks!

Resolution

Why do all the wallpapers posted only have a resolution of 1024x1024. I thought the new retina wallpapers were 2048x2048?

When u save the pic it returns to normal resolution

Well browsing on either my laptop or 3rd gen iPad, whenever I save it still says the image has a resolution of 1024x1024.

Like the zebra ones on the top of page 30.

There is one wallpaper that I'm trying to get but it still leaves it at the 1024 res

Edit: scratch that, its probably the fact that I've only been opening them rather than actually saving them

Yeah, I tried that but it was heavily blurred and compressed. Guess I'll try again if it does work.

Doesn't have to be the same moon etc, it's Manchester City Football Club, i tried to resize in paint but looked weird scaled up, doesn't have to be same moon etc, just something similar, thanks again.
