RIP, Apple Stickers (Kind Of)

Are you paying the same price? I can't think of any examples where they removed the earbuds or chargers from a product but didn't also change the product...

Same price, I used to get the latest phone with a charger, I get the latest phone without one. I'm still getting less.
Greenwashing used to make money, I don't love that.
And Apple, with their utterly unrepairable stuff, has no green credibility.

I was mostly a believer in leaving the packaging (including stickers) in good condition for the event of future resale or storage so they stayed in the box. I still thought it was a unique inclusion though. I remember getting a bunch from my high school from Macs they bought since they were planing to just throw away the stickers.

Aside from maybe a few popular products like the iPhone, changes like this have a negligible environmental impact.
 
But but how am I going to know my annoying neighbor that puts that sticker on their Tesla use Apple or not , but but what about the green and blue bubble

I used one for a very practical purpose: I put it on my Mac floppy disk storage case to distinguish it from the PC floppy disk storage case next to it. This is perhaps not particularly relevant today.
 
That's one of the lamest things I've ever heard. Oh well I enjoyed having those stickers. They weren't the highest quality and we wear out, but it was always nice to have a sticker to show your support for the product now they don't give you that option. oh well, I guess the old apple is now dead.
 
I suppose I'll be fine.

I found them useful for keeping the glass screen taped to the iMac when you opened it up. A cheap solution to an Apple made problem.

If it's a different phone, then it's not the same price. The prices simply aren't comparable.

I tried to put one on my back windshield but it fell off after one wash. That’s the only time I tried to use them for something.
 
I still have some of the original rainbow ones. Gonna hold onto them for as long as I can, then see what they're worth... Probably someone making their own with a cricut already though.

You serious? They don't save them so they can later entomb them into a shrine for Apple?
 
I always thought including the stickers on non-Mac products was a bit much. Are you really that much of a fan of Apple if you get an iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple Watch, Apple TV, etc? I always felt true Apple fandom always has resided in the Mac line of products.

Anyway, not like it's that big of a deal. It was just kinda one of those things that brought a little joy to me when opening an Apple product and going through the contents of what is inside the box. I guess no more.

I know that different phones are not the same phone, not's sure what isn't clear to you.
Let's put it in a different way that may make more sense to you: a new phone with no accessories is worse compared to having the same phone and a charger/earbuds for the same price, or the same phone and a discount on accessories, or the same phone for less money. They could have don this and that's what I was asking for.
Again, I know that new models are different. I swear I do. I hope you can trust me.
