If you want sticker; but the physical gift card. It is a colourful sticker.

I don’t think I’ve ever stuck one of these to anything. An Apple logo on something that’s not Apple feels kinda sad.

If anyone wants stickers, I have a box full of Apple stickers (from decades of Apple purchases) that I’ve never actually used.

I must say Apple did a pretty good job making stickers while they did. Among all the stickers on my car, the Apple sticker has held up the best.

I have a ****-ton of stickers because I’m a house call Genius and save the stickers my clients got if they didn’t want them. Hundreds. Sadly I don’t have any 6-color logo ones any longer.

I wonder if any are worth the trouble to sell.

If Apple wants to avoid plastic, they can use stickers made of a different (environmentally friendly) material. The real reason is probably to save costs, even if it is only cent amounts ... and another "organic" material would cost more.

the stickers had limited use however were more traditional
Apple should spend more time innovating rather than eliminating stickers
Enough said

I think in all the years I have been buying Apple devices, I don't think I ever used these stickers. They stayed in the box, went with it if I sold a device or got thrown away if the device was retired.

This is what I wish happened with all stuff they removed like earbuds and chargers. If I'm paying the same price, let ME decide if I need it or it's just e-waste. Or give me a price cut.

...also there will be debate about the tone of this article 🙃

I thought the tone was fine. What's wrong with the tone? A lot of people liked stickers, you aren't getting them by default anymore, they're made of plastic and Apple said no more plastic, you can still get one if you ask. Totally neutral.

Been reading this blog for about 20 years, I don't recall anything with this style. Title and description are playful, almost humorous (I'd never call them "neutral"), the conclusion is friendly. It feels like funny PC-Gamer, not formal MacRumors. Plus it's shorter than usual
Nothing wrong in absolute terms, it's a style a blog can choose, just not the right style here. Unless they're planning a big shift, but I don't think that's the case.
