Nice band, but it would bother me that the lugs stick out like a sore thumb.

This was a concern for me as well, but I quickly got over it. The chrome actually complements the sleek black in many lighting situations. If it REALLY bothers you - you can always send it to Watchplate. I believe they will plate the classic buckle bands in black chrome to match the space black watch. $135 bucks + tax out the door.

Looks great, but I agree with the chrome lugs not being the best match. I bet you could swap the lugs on it with the Luvvitt black adapters from Amazon. Would totally complete the package.

Looks quite worn already OP. My black classic buckle looks good as new. Does the leather have a shine to it?

Loving this band, Esp the color.

So you pay the same £129 for the band but you no longer get a storage case? Thanks, but no thanks.
I bought the strap and love it, but what's up with not getting the storage case? I can see not getting it for the sport band but you should definitely get it with the leather.

Still no luck at getting it in stores? I'm hoping to pick up a brown one today...

Got mine yesterday, very happy with it.
Will be much better for formal occasions than the White sports band I have.
it came in the cardboard box btw.

Just got mine. Love the color. Love the band. Will be a nice change from my blue leather loop.

This will be my next band for my SS 42. I have the original black classic buckle and a black sport ... both OEM. I really like the contrast of black screen, SS body, and brown leather.

Ordered mine last night, really excited about it turning up tomorrow. I ordered a fake leather brown one when the watch originally came out but the lugs looked really cheap and didn't fit well. I do find that you get what you pay for when it comes to the straps, Apple's fit and finish is unsurprisingly way better than the knock-offs.

Coming from the sports bands to the leather strap, the metal lugs slide & click in place so satisfyingly :)

Mine arrived yesterday and very happy. The buckle and buckle tongue seem to have been slightly re-designed and the excess strap seems to sit flatter on the wrist.

Did anybody get this band for an AW Sport? I wonder how the steel lugs look with the aluminum, can't find any pictures on the Web. I'm getting a bit tired of my stone leather loop :D

I don't think it's any different to posts around here with standard shiny silver adapters with the Watch Sport.

For conceptual renderings, try these two sites:

The second one doesn't have the Saddle Brown, but provides a better angle for the Watch.

After 10 days of wear plus an application of leather conditioner my Saddle Brown Classic Buckle is supple and very comfortable to wear. No regrets.

Thanks, I ended up buying one for my AW Sport... it looks fine!
It's a bit long for my wrist but it feels very comfortable.
