What does it mean please by setting a peak schedual?Yeah, in a large part she got lucky, but was also wearing good gear. Good Arai helmet (bruised mandible rather than broken), jacket, Forcefield Armored shirt (several bruised ribs rather than broke), armored pants, etc.
@vine-boating, I probably should have clarified that I was talking about with the Samsung Mail app. I am not sure if that was the app you were using to check mail. If you are using the Samsung Mail App, under that hamburger menu in the upper left corner, open that up and click the gear icon, scroll down to your Gmail account and click it, look for the menu item "Email Sync Schedule," see what it is set at. Mine was defaulted to "every 15 minutes. Click that and the time line should read "Set Sync Schedule" and say underneath "Every 15 minutes." Click that again and change it to "Auto (when received). There are a bunch of settings that rane from Auto (when received) to Once a Day. You can also alter the schedule when roaming and set a "Peak Schedule" if you don't want to check as frequently during off-peak hours.
Peak schedule allows you to set a different synch schedule for work and non-work hours. Whether "work" means actual work or just whatever hours you designate is up to you. What does it mean please by setting a peak schedual?
Thanks for explainingPeak schedule allows you to set a different synch schedule for work and non-work hours. Whether "work" means actual work or just whatever hours you designate is up to you.
For example you might want "Auto (When arrived set for work hours, but at home maybe it isn't as important and you want less notification of new mail while you are relaxing, so you may want to set it every hour or every two hours.
You make Peak Hours whatever hours you want. It counts be whatever hours you are normally awake.
Just be aware that if you wear tight jeans its not pocket friendly otherwise the phone is amazing.
That is an issue that I have not experienced, so of no help on this. I am actually surprised how well Samsung Notes manages to convert my poor screen writing to text when I scribble a quick screen off note.I am having problems now with the Note 10
When I use the Samsung Notes app and what to convert to text it does now work - just comes up with processing and nothing happens.
Anyone had this problem before?
Have you tried smart switch? One thing the Note is someway behind Apple and IOS is the whole back up and restore.
I had to reset my phone to factory settings and restore using Samsung Cloud (where I saved my data), however during the restoration period it was at like 85% and then it says everything was not able to be restored. I tried again and then it says it completed the restore however not everything came back and my home screen did not look like the last way I left it before I did the factory reset.
With IOS you know when you do a full restore, iCloud will have your phone identical to what it was.
Is there any other ways to back up your Samsung which is more reliable and better than using Samsung Cloud?
As @Klyster pointed out Samsung SmartSwitch can do the same thing. Plus it can back up to the SD Card on your Note 10 so it is all local and way way way faster to restore. One thing the Note is someway behind Apple and IOS is the whole back up and restore.

Flat display is an instant upgrade for me.Now that the dust has settled, I've been thinking on what would make me upgrade to the Note 11. At the moment, I think, a massive camera upgrade, or a massive battery upgrade, would be the only two things that would get me to upgrade. I have no issues with picture quality of the camera, so if the Note 11 came with a massive jump in megapixles, while not getting worse in pq, I would upgrade. Going to 40+ MP would be worth the upgrade for me. I love the flexibility cropping gives. The other reason for me to upgrade, graphene batteries. I keep hearing more talk of this. If it happens, I'm upgrading. The idea of a battery holding more capacity at a smaller size, and being able to charge much quicker at the same time, all the while being safer, definitely gives me reason to upgrade. Anyone else upgrading 2 years down the road, but would upgrade sooner for a specific feature(s)?
Samsung SmartSwitch can do the same thing.

What about 7.5 inch screen like the new Sony z4 ? I think more than 6.8 is too bulky.
Lol, ended up getting a iPhone XS Max, also quite large, but I have always used large phones and wear skinny jeans with no problem.
No I used Samsung Cloud.Have you tried smart switch?
Usually gets most of my phone right, except for WhatsApp.
No I used Samsung Cloud.
I thought Smart Switch requires you to switch from your old phone to a brand new handset side by side.
Which have you used both by the way? The SD card back up?You can do that, via wifi and cable and you can backup to sd card too.
The PC version has more options if I remember correctly.
I have used both, but really only used it in the last two phones to setup
