I Agree, my Note ended up being less than half price after selling the extras and the incentives that already reduced the price, were applied.

Yeah, except I really have no use for the freebies they given out recently. I remember in years past them giving out free gear watches or gear vrs or memory cards. I would much prefer a discount and spending less money.

Also, wouldn’t recommend using the spen as a trusted device, since it’s always on the phone, very easy for someone else to unlock it.

I had a Note 9 then sold it. But got $300 off Black Friday deal through BB.

The trusted device thing with the S-Pen only last while it is out. Once you put it back it resets.

I think he means anybody could get hold of your phone and take out the S-Pen and then get access to your phone.

Does the phone have to be on a trusted WiFi network for it to work? Or is it just a standalone thing?

I wouldn’t really be worried about family or colleagues but I’d be worried incase I lost the phone or it got stolen.

I tested this....
I have my S-Pen as a trusted device.
It will unlock the phone only after I have unlocked it with my FP....then only while the pen is out.
If it is reinserted then it will need my FP again to unlock the phone

Funny thing about using the Note 9 and packing for a weekend get away with my GF.....
The Note 9 and Pixel 3 XL and my ipad Pro 11 take the same cables now :D

But I can't use the same cable with my iPhone Xs Max and new iPad pro 11:eek:

That is so messed up.

But can the Pixel 3XL use the same Qi charger as your Note 9 and Max?

Packing is such a royal pain in the tail for those of us on multiple platforms.

My Samsung wireless charger works with my Pixel, iPhone, and Note. It also used usb-c, so I can also use the same cable going to my wireless charger to charge my MacBook and iPad.

I must have one of the older Samsung chargers. Well two actually. They have the older usb, not usb-c. It’s such a mess for me to pack all my chargers. Especially when I decide to take my Nintendo hand helds along.

This is absolutely hilarious Apple are now trolling their own users.

They need to just drop the Lightning connecter crap and adopt USB-C on their iPhones. Gald they came to their senses with the iPad in terms of connectors.

I love this charger! I have 3 of them around my house for a quick charge should anyone need it.....Then they fold flat too....
