A camera? That’s definitely something Samsung would do... I wouldn’t put it past them. But I’ll prefer a microphone, tbh.

Yeah it would be just to say they could do it. I don't see it offering any benefit really. They were on the right path making it as much of a remote as possible. Something like a mic would be a good add.

I’m in the same situation, i’m heavy in the ecosystem. So much so that I have almost every Apple product category (Mac, iPad Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV, AirPods). But I’m finding Apple software annoying with the bugs but also IOS is boring, but I’m also asking myself questions like

why can’t I customise my iPhone? Why can’t I still split screen on an iPhone? The screen on my Pro Max is big enough. Why isn’t there a S pen type device from Apple?
Yep. Add to this why am I paying all this money for a phone that can’t even display 1440p on YouTube? For the money I’m paying for an 11 pro max it should have a Dex like feature. Why can’t I get my HomePod to control my Apple TV properly. When my £29 google home mini can turn on my TV, switch inputs and start playing the show I requested via voice on my £20 chromecast.

be interesting how Samsung can improve the S pen as last year it did feel like they were struggling to find ways to make the pen better.
I don’t know why they have to keep improving it. In its current state it’s already way more functional than the Apple Pencil.

They really need to bring back the IR blaster.
This!!!

This!!!

True but the S pen is the only difference from the S line I don’t just get why they don’t just remove the ultra and just make the note combined with the S line. As there is normally no difference from the S line to the note these days

Its inevitable. That was planned few years ago but the huge success of Note 9 revived the situation.

Maybe they just like having two big releases at different points in the year. They could loose sales if they held back the larger S Series phone until August. Big phones are everywhere these days. If someone wants a large screen but doesn’t need an S-pen. They might just buy a Huwawei phone with a big screen or another brand rather than wait until the note comes out. In the past Samsung were the only ones doing big phones so if you wanted a big phone you had to wait until the note came out. The S series was smaller then.

Actually i like samsung release strategy - at thw beginning of year set the bar for others with galaxy (nad get some decent sales) and then in october fight back with note... looks quite reasonable to me

Yep, I don't have an issue waiting for the Note every year, the S series are great but never really tempt me.
The Notes always have something different to offer, I hope the Note 20 sticks with the less rounded corners.

Having played with a S20 Ultra, I have to say I actually prefer the squared corners of the Note series. The rounded corners of the S20 series don't look as slick to me! Looking forward to the Note 20 now (must resist S20 Ultra temptation)!

This guy is entertaining in his presentation manner. I thought Jimmy Walker had left us.
Edit: My apologies to Jimmy. Just checked and he is still with us at 72 years of age.

He is very entertaining and I find him to be very honest as well, there are times he prefers the iPhone and others when he prefers the Note series.

i’m in a situation now where I want to try something new and branch out from iPhone that I’ve been using for many years. the problem is iPhones haven't really changed when it comes to features and customisation.

I agree. It was Apple's declining quality on products in general, arrogant attitude, prices and stagnation which started me looking around a few months ago. Having used Blackberry for work for many years and iPhones for personal use since 2008 I thought it time to give Android a try. So in October I bought the Galaxy S10e. Very pleased so far. I have received software/security updates during the first week of every month.

I still use a 2013 (early) 13" MBP and have no interest in replacing it with any of the current Apple laptops, iMacs or Minis. As long as it does what I need I will keep it. Have done some looking at Surface products, Chromebook and Windows machines but no real decision made as to what I may move to.

This, same here.. i used to be apple zealot but no more, same reasons - boring, arrogant, expensive yet not that much better as apple used to be... will see if android is that bad as apple fanboys use to say:) if not, good bye Tim Apple
