I just saw a rumor relayed from Sam Mobile to 9to5 Google that the Note 20 will get downgraded to 128 GB base storage. o_O:rolleyes:? I'm not necessarily personally interested anymore, due to downsizing to the S20. But I ... I just don't get it. They're pushing more megapixels that eat up storage. But they're going backward on storage.
It's not an issue as long as there is a microSD slot ?

Memory card slot will be re-introduced on N20 thats the reason.

Well that was a waste of 10 mins :)

Nope, he's got excellent points because Samsung really have to think twice before investing further. The world we are now is different than s20 was released so i can assure you you will regret your words ; )

Sorry I think you misunderstand me this guy brings little to the table that could not be gotten standing behind two drunks at bar, if the bar was open these days. He was also shamefully biased in the message he wants to send based on a thin line of reasoning that would equally applicable to many companies, from his perspective.

If anything he does his fellow man/woman a disservice. We all need the wealthy or least affected to resume as normal consumers etc as they are likely to be the biggest stimulus to help kick start economies again

For every Company dissuaded from continuing to develop and produce means there are less employed and less money in the market and so on. It propagates the downward spiral road of depression.

Buy Phones, cars, TV's, holidays, flights etc etc not only are you more likely to get a bargain but you will help all back on the treadmill and complex cycle or world economics

Latest rumours..

Project “C”, otherwise known as Canvas, is said to be the code-name for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

“Canvas” is said to refer to its S Pen, for which new features are sure to be coming.

It could also be a reference to the phone’s sheer size. One rumour suggests the phone will come in at a huge 7.1”, providing even more surface area to work on with the latest gen S Pen.

So Samsung.. in conclusion give me the same screen tech/specs/bells and whistles as the S20 range plus squared corners and I am sold!

I did, and I agree. Went from an iPhone XR to the S20 Ultra, and can't wait to see the Note20+. If it is like the pic, I'll sell the Ultra and go with the Note.

This years Note will be my very first Note device and my first Samsung phone since the S4 I tried many years ago.

Not sure how much of an upgrade it will be over the Note 10.

Note10+ is my first Note.

Cpu of course, camera, build quality, screen size, premium colours, advanced s pen......

Did you jump from an iPhone? If so how are you finding it after the jump/adjusting to it?

yea I have read a few rumours, not sure what to believe tho. Isn’t the S-Pen already advanced? What more can they do with it. compared to my iPhone it seems like it’s got a lot more features.

If the rumors of the iPhone 12 pricing is true, the Note 20 could be in some trouble when it releases. Its going to be hard for Samsung to justify a $1400 or more pricetag if the 120hz, 5G iPhone Pro Max is $200 less.

I agree, and there are many complaints about whether the S20 Ultra camera justifies the price for it. Along with the virus impacting the world, I gotta feeling Samsung will do something different.

I wouldn't be surprised if they release two Notes again and keep the Note plus at a really high price.

But I agree, the Ultra was overpriced. They were justified in raising the price because of the specs but it didn't deliver on a lot of the hardware especially in regards to the camera. We don't know what the Note 20 will contain, but if the top tier iPhone is 120hz, 5G, and with a huge battery I struggle to see what the Note can have to justify being more expensive.

You struggle? Obviously... it's the S-Pen, Samsung will provide additional features for the Note 20... but the S-Pen is the biggest selling point for the Note series... IMO. Some Note users don't use the S-Pen as much as they should... I for one, don't take advantage of it as much as I should. But when I do... I realize what an awesome device it is.

I've been a iPhone user since it's first introduction, but at this point... iOS is stagnant. I'm still a Apple user with my iMac and iPad... but until iOS provides more flexibility in terms of features, I'm alright with staying on the Note series.

I expect the Note will come with more storage, buds+, Case and maybe premium care with generous trade-ins, so will be cheaper/better value than equivalent IPhone

So you think having the S-pen, something the Note series has always had, is a way for them to justify the Note 20 being $1400 or more? That's ridiculous.

The post wasn't about iOS or it's capability. The issue is about pricing a phone compared to the competition. If the Pro Max is cheaper and has all the same main features, it will absolutely sink the Note this year for all but the most diehard Note enthusiasts.

You mention how Samsung could differentiate itself from the iPhone and provide a better price value for the Note 20. And the point I was making was how the S-Pen is such a vital part in the Note series, something the iPhone lacks. No way I’m trying to declare that the S-Pen justifies a $1400 price tag.

And obviously you brought up the iPhone and that has to do with iOS. When it comes down to pricing a phone its all about the capabilities it provides for the end user. And as @SteveJUAE mention, Samsung does well by providing incentives to help with buying Galaxy phones.

Ok, I thought you were trying to say the S-pen justifies a higher price tag.
