I think the 100 X zoom was more useful in videos than still photos. Hopefully they retain at least 50X zoom.
You tempted again? Perfect world for me is 12 pro max and note 10 plus. Will see though I have to have IOS as daily driver though

I do miss the note 10 plus. I could easily get one again but then I'd feel like I'm missing out on this year's updates and I'd wish I'd waited for the note 20 plus.
they call that FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and it is a real thing!
Yeah, it seemed 100x zoom was overkill... however, it was one of these situation that it was a competitive advantage over other Android OEM.
As rumors starts to pile up for the Note 20 Plus, it’s starting to seem like a “meh“ update. We only seeing hardware rumors, but until I see what software features Samsung is planning with the Note 20. I don’t mind keeping the Note 10 Plus another year... it’s a awesome and fun device to use.
120hz and a flatter display are enough to get me to upgrade, hope it's even flatter than my S20.
They better have a 256gb "small" model though.
I just hope its 120Hz and QHD. Usually I find FHD good enough, but on my S20 plus at that screen size I definitely notice text being a little blurry. Most probably wouldnt notice it however.
It’s suppose to be running LTPO so i think that would mean it will run 120hz at full resolution

I must say I'm miffed. Why is us that my old S5 can still connect to my wifi in my garden yet my 11 Pro max starts losing connection as soon as I get into the kitchen?
LTPO is said to have a 20% improvement for battery but my series 5 has this tech and let’s say battery isn’t great but I guess it’s hard to compare from a watch to a phone
Maybe the always on display of the Apple Watch causes the battery to drain faster. I don’t have the Series 5, I do have the Series 4 and it’s battery life has been great, I can go for an 8 mile run and by the time I get back home it will be around 82%
I'd say the battery life on my series 5 with the always on display on is comparable to my series 4 without the AOD.
Must admit the more I use my old S5 I start to remember the things I like about android and this is an old phone that hasn't had a software update for years. I can get dark mode on literally 80% of things. It can do split screen apps and I can customize it anyway I want.
Yeah it’s good to have the best of both worlds. You thought about the Samsung upgrade program? Prices per month seem reasonable and you get a new one each year.
I will always have the newest iPhone each year as my daily driver but the note 20 plus could be my 2nd phone for different use cases like spilt screen and multitasking/ S pen usage

I tried it with and without AOD didn’t see a big difference in fairness. I end the day on about 20% most days
I'm just not sure about how much use I'd get out of having two flagships. I tried having the S7 edge, note 8 and S9 plus at the same time as the latest iPhone at the same time and I felt like it was a waste as I struggled to use them both. However I will get a more modern samsung phone and use it between now and the note 20 to see if I can use two phones at the same time.
For myself it ultimately comes down to the spec of each phone as to its use. If I bought one flagship and not the other I'd wonder if I'd ever use the other as I would always gravitate to what is the better phone. So I'm not sure if a two phone strategy, which I currently have, would work unless both were flagships.
And here's the kicker… unless you're going to go iPhone SE (and even then it's sort of debatable given it's based on the iPhone 8 which was a flagship itself), on the iOS side when is it you're not buying their flagship? Personally I feel Apple only sells into the premium market, the flagship market - which is fine btw, but that means I'm ultimately forced into the Android flagship market.
If I'm not going to use something why would I buy it at all??
That’s what a Note should look like in my opinion. But it needs a case for a person to get a decent grip on it. It’s very nicely flat. I think my husband would go for it. I’m happy with my S20 and will skip the Notes this year but that does look sweet.What does everyone think of this Note 20 concept?

I never really tested my S20 but I know my Pixel 2 was a champ at holding a WiFi signal. It didn’t have a sim in it when I took it with me to use as a camera while sledding on a hill in a field next to my house. I was still able to get emails on it from there. Call quality is overall always at least slightly better on any of my Android phones than on my latest and greatest iPhone. But my 3XL had that issue of sometimes cutting out volume and my S10+ used to surf the web while I was on a call because the proximity sensor didn’t seem to work consistently. It’s always something! 🙄
