The wireless headphone i got with Note10 didn't impress when i used it few months but now i think its really cool although i don't think it costs $499 as Samsung claimed.

With me it really depends on first impression , i have to hold the phone at least 5 minutes, see it, feel it , promotions, bonuses, freebie....

Samsung must make up for the last 4-6 months losses and sell as many units as possible so i am expecting price drop or great bonuses and promotions ???

No, actually I’m on my upgrade for 2020, my family gifted me with a Product Red iphone SE 2020 as sort of a late Mother’s Day and early birthday present combined! And I absolutely love it! I’m actually trending non flagship and small. So I’m definitely committed to my S20 for the rest of the year too as the Pink is a perfect complement to my product red. 😍

The writing was kind of on the wall when I got the metallic red Samsung earbuds. 😬. I kept missing the Product Red 8 Plus I traded to get my dad’s phone

I do still have my 11 Pro. I don’t use it much right now. I played so much Animal Crossing with the family that I inflamed my carpal tunnel soreness again.

And I kept dropping it. 🙄
Dropping a phone that costs hundreds to repair and costs so much for Apple Care plus which my husband balked at and ultimately refused to purchase despite me being a klutz now... I think I’m done with that for a few years. I get bad spells of vertigo with my migraines. I’m going to stay with small and grippy phones.

Sorry that was a wall of words just to say no, but I’ll be looking at the new Note when my husband gets one!

Looks wicked! I hope my husband gets this. He’s not exactly in love with his Ultra so I can see him trading it in for that, though when I ask him, he remains uncommitted to giving an answer, as always. 🙄

I think as far as tech purchases, the rest of this year I’m looking at one of the Apple/Beats earbuds in red so I can switch off between my Samsung ones. Also I tried all the ear tips and my Samsung buds do still sproing out of my ears when I exercise. Which is why I’m considering the Beats ones.

Omg I’m exercising again. I gotta go dig up my Fitbit and see if I like it better than Apple Watch. Apple Watch is so hardcore. It mocks me. It doesn’t take me seriously. I swear it’s patronizing me. It’s for the lady in the fitness video who is trying to kill me.

I need settings to measure the exercise efforts of a dumpybutt middle aged woman with bad knees who is recovering from possible Covid and gone straight into seasonal allergies. If you wonder exactly what I might be like exercising, just flip a turtle on its back. 😵 I may also fire up my Samsung Active watch or whatever the heck it was called.

It hard to explain but there’s just this California fitness aura to the Apple Watch. Like it knows it’s too good for me. It never lets me forget I’m a dumpy uncool potato. Fitbit and Samsung had a bit of a different tone. They know I won’t be caught dead in spandex, so I exercise in my pajama pants and Pokémon t-shirts and they love me anyway. And they don’t laugh at me when I can’t do planks and sort of collapse and bang my head on the exercise mat in frustration. Damn you Tim Apple!

Might me just me but I think Samsung got the screen edge curve perfect with the current S20 series.

I'm a big fan of the slight curved edge mainly due to using the edge panel. That slight curve makes the edge panel a pleasure to use.

The cons outweighs the benefit i guess. May be good for S series but a Note must be flat and wide otherwise how you suppose to maneuver freely with the s pen.

Hopefully not from late August , wow from what i saw at the leaked pics of the flat Note20 it really looks rectangular and lot different than its predecessors assuming pics are real.

I was being sarcastic, but I understand the frustration. 😁
The only thing that irks me is the pain in the arse procedure involved in fitting a glass screen protector.
Otherwise I'm fine with curved screens.

I Know i know you were joking but yeah sometimes the curve can limit usability in some features and functions.

I just find the curves wildly impractical. They distort some content. They are responsible for false touches (lol sounds a bit naughty). They are a pain to protect with display protectors. And I never liked how the edges remind me of a fluorescent tube light.

I think Samsung did a nice job on the S20 series edges. I find it annoying Samsung’s Chinese rivals are using the same curves Samsung abandoned a couple of years ago. If you’re going to copycat, copy something sensible.

It should be certainly with auto focus lazer said to be on the note 20 plus. Think there will be some improvements to the S pen and camera

It’s all subjective.

I know for me, I doubt I upgrade. As it stands... 120hz, 16gb, obviously faster performance and better camera. But then we gotta wait until what software features that Samsung will announce for the Note 20. The Note10+ has been a joy to use... as long as it performs well. I’m alright with skipping on the Note 20.

Right now, only upgrade I’m looking forward to is the 2021 iPad Pro that will have the Micro-LED display.

I wonder how Samsung will hold the event this year, I know it will be online. Will they still deliver a presentation but to an empty room (that would be very cringe), or will they simply announce the new Note 20 and other devices via a set of smaller videos/press releases?

I'm assuming the announcement will be taking place on August 5th (as rumoured and confirmed by Jon Prosser). I wonder if the pre-order/release dates will be different here in the U.K vs those in the US
