For me screen resolution is much more important than 60 or 120hz. You won't have a 120hz on a standard phone because it will simply defeat the purpose making a cheaper variant of the Note line.

The flat Note 20 is probably a trial, if sold well then you'll never know things might change in different direction for the next 2021/22 Note.

The merge of S & Note series was predicted long time ago but not every 3 months. They probably call them series 1 , 2 , 3 etc.... just like Tv's and other products.

A Note, an S series, a fold and a flip, spaced at 3 month intervals, on an annual cycle.
Only the release dates would have to change really.
As for the Note 20, if they bundle the new watch in it, I'll preorder, which in all honesty, I'll probably do anyway.
The S3 frontier still works fine, but I'd love a new Samsung watch.

I'm very interested in seeing what Samsung do with the Note 20 and 20 Plus. I'm from the U.K and unfortunately we don't get very good pre-order deals, fingers crossed that might change this year and i would love to get a free Samsung Watch with a Note purchase, i could then compare it to my current Apple Watch.

I think we had the new colour last year, the Aura glow I think it was called. It looks like I will have a decision to make anyway, between the Note 20 and the Surface Duo which is rumoured to be launched before the Fold 2.
I guess I will have to convince the wife to take the S20+ as she already likes One UI on the Note10 (she's been weened off iOS

this is the UK we’re talking about. The good deals seem to happen several months after release

I could wait for the inevitable discounts that are likely a couple of months after initial release.
This will also make me less guilty of ditching the S20+ so soon and review any initial release issues such as those auto focus issues on the S20 Ultra devices.
Saying all that it all depends on how compelling the Note20 range is in reality and how long one can resist! Hehe.

No doubt this will be a spec monster! I hope though they have added the next gen fingerprint scanner which has been rumoured
I am still very happy with my note 10+.
Not sure what they could add here to convince me to upgrade.
