Maybe so but the XR doesn’t have features to drain the battery. You can’t do real productivity on it which you can on Samsung devices

so you haven't done any real productivity the last few years then?

@jamezr posted a link from Tom's Guide which is a valid source. Enjoy your XR, we'll enjoy our Androids.

There is no Xr on graph with S10, invalid, that's all i am saying.

Seems weird the only graph with the S10 on it doesn't have the Xr, as it would be either on top, same or just below S10. Time will tell.

The so called 1 hour better on the S10 will be lost in battery drain anyway, guaranteed.

Talk about deflecting...... The S10+ gains an hour and 10 minutes battery life over the XR. While powering a bigger, brighter OLED display. That more than makes up for any standby times.

No

My iPhone has been great for all the basic things I use it for but no I don’t think you can do real productivity on it. Maybe that changes with IOS 13

As even something as simple as multi window/picture in picture is still not on the iPhone not even the bigger max models

Let's please not start this nonsense again. Yes, there are things you can do on an Android phone that you can't do on an iPhone but there are millions of people with professional occupations or running successful businesses from iPhones who will beg to differ.

I can’t speak for other people only my own usage but I can’t see any possible way to do anything super productive on an iPhone without a proper files system but if others can then great

What kills me .. is Apple allows apps to pull files from other apps. Like WTF!!!! Just add a freaking file manager, even if it's limited to specific folders.

Wow you didn't know that before going all in?

I was more than aware but my point wasn’t about my phone choice it was about a simple feature android does which IOS doesn’t.

My max has been a very good phone but it’s become dull and it’s why I’m getting the S10 plus where I get far better value for my money

Does that mean I’m ditching apple? No as I enjoy my iPad Pro 12.9 which gets used daily

We didn't know Apple would be lazy or sloppy when the 2gb RAM iPads started getting multi-window and PiP support. This was a few iOS versions back. Common sense would dictate that Apple should add that to the 5.5" Plus models since they actually could use the real-estate, but Apple didn't have that sense. Next, iOS 12 was meant to be the major update to revitalize the dilapidated iOS 7-esque UI, but iOS 11 happened. Now, people are having major hopes for iOS 13, but I am not counting on the "Walled-Garden" to make the critical adjustments needed to improve productivity on their smartphones.

There is more to smartphones than multi-tasking. I don't speak for everyone, but I can for myself. I chose the iPhone XS Max on a carrier deal plus it was the only device with hardware and software cohesion. Sadly, the XS Max's antennae are awful.

ok, but what are you going to do with 2 apps at 2.75" each lol.

Did Samsung announce new watches for later this year? If so, I completely missed that part of their presentation. And they confirmed they’re keeping the rotating bezel?

Regardless, the Active doesn’t have a rotating bezel on a device using an OS optimized for that type of hardware navigation. Navigation via swipes on an OS that works best with that rotating bezel looks clunky at best.

The Galaxy watch is always announced when the Note is announced. Sport/active watches are with the S series.

You will never see a iPhone do that.
My XR could do it. There are days where I could get 12 hrs SOT with my XR if I had an irrational addiction to it haha. For example, yesterday I finished the day at 57% with 5hrs, 20mins SOT. All that said though, it’s worthless to compare at this point. As others have said, the S10 family will likely get users through an entire day of use very comfortably, and that’s really all that matters. I like that my battery anxiety is gone with the XR, but I charge nightly and haven’t dropped below 40% in a single day since I’ve owned it. I’m sure the S10 will be the same if not better for everyone. When I had the Note9, the battery was outstanding. I’d expect no less from the S10. Actually I’d expect even better.

Edit: I feel the need to say though, before one of you point it out, I understand you are sacrificing pixel density for the sake of better battery life. Yes, the S10 technically has a much higher quality panel while maintaining stupendous battery life. I’m aware of that sacrifice, but I’m absolutely fine with it.

No it won't be. As the OLED display is less taxing than a LCD display.

Like I said, prove yourself by posting something to back your opinion up.
