The hilarious thing about the Pixel 3 XL is that it has got away with A LOT of crap that other Android OEMs would have been hammered for

For its outrageous price its not at all a good deal, had it been priced like a Mid Range phone it would have made far more sense.

Likely due to how great the camera is makes people accept it

Seems weird the only graph with the S10 on it doesn't have the Xr, as it would be either on top, same or just below S10. Time will tell.

The so called 1 hour better on the S10 will be lost in battery drain anyway, guaranteed.
I own an Xr and the battery life on it is about the same as on my Pixel 3XL, which is barely adequate. I switch between the two through the day and still just get by and I'm hardly a power user. I do live where signal strength is poor and I'm on the road a good chunk of the day so that's a drain. At any rate, I can't brag, but I can't legitimately complain, either, since I do make it through my days with what I've got.

Anyway graphs are just about idea of what you could expect. They're not a promise. Each individual unit is unique and might have within it the dregs of the parts bins and so will under perform against expectations. Half of all the phones I've owned could fit that description.

So here's to hoping for good phones and no lemons for all of us.

Carriers here in the US have been offering BOGO deals through bill credits

Oh ok. With ebay its outright sale. You are not chained to any contract. Carriers of course will try to trap you by any means.
[doublepost=1551794014][/doublepost]Mmmmm.... $1274 for s10+ seems very irresistible when s9+ still selling for the same price

It really is a fun phone though. The smooth integration with Google Assistant is such a joy. I love mine and have had very few problems.

But the battery life is not satisfactory and I yearn for a wide angle lens and a manual camera mode, which I really loved on my S9+. If my S10+ ends up being as great as all the first impressions make it out to be, I MIGHT find it very difficult to justify upgrading to Pixel 4, if Google doesn't significantly raise their game.

Where I might grow frustrated with the S10 is if there are too many barriers between me and Google Assistant. If that's the case, then Bixby better be damned good at helping me control my phone and organizing my life.

I am bit surprised Samsung makes only $200--300 net profit per unit (s10+ in this case,) after deducting total overheads.

Each S10+ costs Samsung $400+ to produce so here we go....

You might wonder why do we care? Yes why do we care, but at least it makes sense now why new flagship phones cost a fortune.

My pre-order from Samsung is sad and lonely.

I ordered on 2/25 and it's still just sitting there saying that it will ship by 3/8. I can still cancel. Seems like everyone else's order is shipping.

It’s crazy how our experiences can differ so wildly. When I was using my 3 XL I’d be at about 30-40% when I got home from work. With my XR I’m usually above 60% still.

Mine was never going to arrive before March 15th even though I thought those of us who preordered under the reservation system we're guaranteed a March 8th delivery date. My husband's is definitely showing delivery for tomorrow, so there's that, at least. He got the blue.

I love the looks for the ceramic backs the best but lately hand/pinky strain has me trying to shave some grams of weight off my devices when I can.

I almost went for the S10 instead of the S10+ but decided I wanted the battery life and larger display more than I wanted to shave off the 20 grams. It will still be lighter than my Pixel 3XL, which is sufficiently light.

My Xr was great at the outset and one of the updates bleeped it up. The phone did always spontaneously overheat from the beginning though. There's something just a little bit off about it.

I just went through all my apps on the 3XL and turned off background processes on the ones I felt it was okay to do so. Let's see if I get better battery life from it.

I wasn't going to reply to you....but I wasn't involved in any pissing contest. I was providing intelligent data to correct a false statement. I provided conclusive data to backup everything i said.
The other person stated their POV as fact with no data to back up their false claims.

Then if don't want to read what I have to say....there is always the ignore button.

Lol. Call it what you want. Still participated in back n forth bickering, regardless of showing off data or not. Not the thread for it. Take it to PM. Cheers dude, no blocking needed.

Anyone's Samsung.com order ship and not showing any FedEx activity despite having it being "picked up?" I have a delivery date, but saw no action since yesterday morning.

The Note 10 will be redundant for S10+ owners. It will just have the same processor, RAM quantity, a slightly better display, and add a new camera system. You would have to really need the S-Pen to even start to justify a costly purchase, at least imo.

And a much bigger battery? That's a huge Pro.

Bigger battery, bigger display, 4 cameras and maybe faster charging too so it may be better upgrade than normal

I plan on getting note 10 as I do miss the S pen

@GrumpyMom did your Samsung washingmachine arrived yet? and still have some clean underwear? :D:p:p
No, it’s scheduled for Friday. I’m running dangerously low. I might have to squish into a pair from a few donuts ago.

I’ve kept some of my undersized clothes in the hopes a spring diet and exercise program will put me back to where I was in my early 40’s and had the best figure of my life. I was too skinny before and am too pudgy now.

This might be helpful for your button re-mapping. Play store link in the article second paragraph from the bottom.

The Verge: "How to re-program the Bixby button on a Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, S10, Note 8, or Note 9...

...If you don’t want to deal with sideloading, there’s a 99 cent app called BixAssist available in the Google Play Store that performs the same function."
