Guessing S pen might be free with pre order. Heard £49 to buy

S pen will certainly be bigger than all the previous notes

Bringing the S Pen to the S line up would be an interesting move, however i loved the box design and curved display of the Note 20 Ultra and the only reason i sent it back to Samsung was because of the battery life on the Exynos chip.

The latest rumours are back and forth on future Note devices. There are now a couple of leakers who have said that Samsung have cancelled the Note. Surely Samsung will acknowledge it if they have cancelled the Note and not just leave Note fans waiting.

Its probably wait 'n see game how the 21U goes. But its obvious how Samsung is trying to cut costs and overheads so no point making another S Ultra look alike variant in 6 months time. Note21 Ultra might survive but 22 its a bit hard i guess.

Yea I think that's all we can do. Who knows, if the S21U impresses me I may decide to give it a chance.

Well, if battery was your only complaint from Note 20U i think you will be happy with the S21U.
Yea battery life was my only complaint from the Note 20U. It was a great device, I loved the screen (much brighter and punchier than my 11 Pro Max), really liked the camera, S pen was great and the curved display I loved over my iPhone.

The only thing for me really was the battery life. After returning it I have been missing it, as weird as that may sound considering I only had it for around 2 weeks or so.

sounds like it may be a good bet for you. just depends if the iPhone 13 would tempt you enough for you to make that call now or not.

S21 ultra will be the most feature packed device on the market without question.

I will be watching the S21 event (it's on at 3pm here in the U.K) on Thursday and then I will see how I feel afterwards. As for the iPhone, I've got to a point where it's a good device BUT it's boring, it works it does what I want but there isn't that wow factor anymore. IOS for example looks outdated and seems like it falls behind in comparison to Samsungs One UI (at least the OS that was on the Note 20U).

My only issue with moving is the Apple Watch, but much like I did with the Note 20U, I will keep my 11 Pro Max so that I can keep my Apple Watch. Hopefully Samsung improve on the Galaxy Watch and I can try one of those, maybe with Watch 4 if it is released later this year.

I honestly don't know how much more Samsung can do for the Galaxy Watch. Its about developer support... Apple Watch has it. I'm watching closely for what Google does with Wear OS, apart from Google Services... they have an established app store.

I think most people have plenty fast USB c chargers. It was good idea from Samsung
Well, it's harder to argue in case of Samsung, since they've been at least shipping USB-C chargers, even with some mid-rangers like the A71 (unlike Apple). It just feels jibbed paying that much money for less (especially with the S21 getting a plastic back).

I criticized Apple when they did it and I'll criticize Samsung now. This is a ******** money grab hidden behind a PR move. I still blame Apple because Samsung wouldnt have the balls to pull a move like this without watching Apple first to see how big the backlash would be. Its a dirty move to save money and to get people to buy some accessories.

I find it ironic though, the first time Apple doesn’t include a charger is the one time customers might need one. It’s practically a new charging port, but I’m guessing Apple assumes customers have USB-C MBs to charge it with.

When Apple transitioned to no audio port, at least they gave customers a dongle to help with the transition.

Yeah alot of issues when it comes to apps and support isn't really on samsung but the support from google. the developers support is just not there. why some apps for fold aren't optimised to how they should be.

I think the Fold 3 will indeed be the first device to get the Exynos AMD processor. Hopefully Samsung ends up making all flagships with Exynos after this. That should help with even quicker updates for all devices regardless of region.

What's the latest on expected US$ pricing on these? Considering trading in my S20FE as they'll give me $550 for it.

No definite answer yet. I've heard it'll be cheaper across the board from the S20 series. Others have heard it will be more expensive for the Ultra model. We have to wait and see.

I've heard:

S21 - $799
S21 plus - $999
S21 Ultra - $1299
