I used samsung pay in sainsbury's this morning. It came to £55. I thought it might not work because of the contactless limit but I thought I would try it anyway. It went through.

In the UK.. contactless payment limit on physical cards is £45 but on Apple / Samsung / Google pay the limit is ~£200+ I believe.

^that's been the case for a few months now!

Noticed my ultra suffering from overheating even after the June update

More an issue when outside but I wouldn't say it's super warm today though

Temperature is currently at 40.6c

Wow! I'm shocked.. goes to show shortage of chip for the Note21 is practically BS. But at least people going to enjoy a great value Android phone.
Not necessarily BS. It seems they made a choice between the more potentially selling S21 FE over the more premium Note21 range. I'm sure they would have both available if the supply chain allowed it. Why would they intentionally miss out on the sales.. they are a business after all.. the S21 FE availabilty makes sense over the Note21 range in the current circumstances.

Huh? There’s the A series… if the A52 didn’t exist, then yeah.. you have a point.

But the A52 is a good budget phone.. a great value of an Android phone. I still think it’s BS and if it’s based off sales.. choosing the S21 FE to sell in larger quantities over the Note. Then my guess the Note didn’t sell well last year.

I do believe this could be the writing on the wall, since they have implemented the S-Pen to S and Foldable line.

I was thinking more about the Exynos 2100 and SD888 market (flagship level CPUs). Samsung would sell way more of the S21 FE aimed at flagship killer niche than the ultra premium Note21 flagship range.

Also note, the budget phones such as A series use cheaper lower cost internals so they wouldn't affect the Note21 decision as much as the S21 FE.
