Gotta admit, that S22 Ultra is a big boy. But man it sure is a pretty designed phone, I like the cameras, kinda a cool funky style, and matte finish is always the best.
Yes sir definitely Note boxy style... I like the camera layout on the matte finish myself definitely a little bit different than my glossy Pixel... Hanging with the big boys that's for sure
It’ll be interesting to hear how the battery life is for you guys. Seeing a lot of comments on Twitter that battery life isn’t great. Hopefully that’s just the usual Twitter nonsense.
Oh my gosh some of you have gotten your phones already! That’s so exciting!
I’m home! Not because I wanted to take delivery of my phone tomorrow but that’s a great bonus.
I mean I’m not that selfish I’d leave an old widow who just had a scary fall alone for a reason like that. No, I had to come home because I’m a wreck. The only place for me to sleep in her house is a chair in the living room. (My old bedroom is now a storage room). The master bedroom looks ransacked and so she sleeps on the sofa herself. She is hard of hearing, so the tv is up to full volume and she insists it has to be on 24x7. My ears are ringing. My hearing seriously was affected by two days of that. I barely slept and she was running me ragged. The first day after she fell I had to lift her a lot but she’s mobile again.
I do have to go back but I’ll try to come home every other day to sleep and get coffee. It’s also awful at her house because she doesn’t drink coffee anymore. The kitchen is tiny so the Keurig was the first to go. 😪 I am just not human without coffee.
Oh well I’m home and I’m going to get my S22 Ultra and I’m going to have my Wi-Fi and set it up. I can’t wait. I’m so excited! I’m going to drink as much coffee as I can without getting hyper and I’m going to spread everything out on my dining room table and no huge cat is going to obscure my phone! 😆

Some early Galaxy S22 Ultra owners are seeing a strange display issue that jumbles up the pixels, resulting in a bar across the screen.

Here we go as predicted .....but hopefully its fixable for Exynos owners. Seriously Samsung you are the masters of screen panels what's wrong? No single problem reported from Snapdragon owners.
Am sure this problem is easily fixable.

Only Exynos variant are affected by this so must be an issue with the chipset or something not compatible...
Well the overnight drain handle well I only lost 2.5 to 3% in 7 plus hours
My S22 Ultra arrived yesterday, i love this thing the Spen inside is awsome, the Burgundy is much better in person.
As for battery life, i took it off charge at 4am this morning, its at 60% after 1:44 minutes of on screen time and 8 hours 29 minutes off screen time. It's learning my usage and no doubt it will settle in over time. But considering i have been listening to music with the screen off, using the SPen and constantly connected to wifi or 4G while out and about, and connected to my new Watch 4. I still think that's pretty decent.

I wish this had the fingerprint sensor in the power button like the Flip 3. That works flawlessly for me on every first attempt whereas in-screen reader on Note 20 Ultra sometimes took a couple of tries.🤷🏼♀️
I'm there with you I like the power button fingerprint scanner... I'm using the face recognition which helps big time especially when I'm working from homeI wish this had the fingerprint sensor in the power button like the Flip 3. Oh goodness I live out in horse territory. We used to see sights like this horse on the way to and from school. Imagine driving a carload of kids past a sight like that and all the snickering and mumbled jokes! 🤪
My phone did get here super early this morning. And y’all were joking a few pages back about being worried about being caught on the toilet answering a call of nature when your phone arrived…well that’s exactly what happened to me! 😱
I mean FedEx NEVER once has dropped off one of my phones first thing in the morning before. Fortunately my husband was free and signed for it.
It’s a beautiful green and after I do some chores I’ll take some photos. There’s absolutely zero sunlight here right now so I’ll humorously enough photograph it in my bathroom where there’s a skylight and a small but very bright chandelier. Yes a skylight and a candelabra chandelier in the bathroom of a country house. Don’t judge, the previous owners installed it and it was the early 90’s when people were obsessed with those things. I hate dusting the damned thing and never would have chosen it, not even in the 90’s.
