looks like an issue more prevalent with Samsung phones for sure. Plenty of evidence of it. Not surprising after Note 7 explosions and airlines banning the phone.
But I just told you I had this issue with an iPhone? I'm not concern with my Galaxy device... had a Note 10 plus, no issues... Galaxy Fold 2, no issues. Im not denying that it can't happen... but you are acknowledging that it ONLY happens on Samsung devices and that's not true.

But you have no credibility? I believe tech reviewers who have a bigger sample size than you.

But from what i‘ve seen so far its only devices that have been stored, not ones that are being used. It definitely needs to be looked into by Samsung. If it is the case the devices bulge in storage and it’s happening with devices that are 2 years old, most people are either using their phone or have upgraded to the latest one.
See my above post.

It happens to Samsung about 20x1 vs the iPhone. I've owned many iPhones and only one had it and it was a iPhone SE. All the rest never did it and we still have iPhones in the house from iPhone X, 11 pro max and 12. All are fine. I've had it do it to 3 Samsung's personally. Never any other brand other than one iPhone SE.

Wonder how long until S22 phones start getting swollen batteries.
probably at the same rate as iPhones and MacBook Pros

Stored or not stored it shouldn’t be happening. I say Samsung users especially outside the western world keep their phones much longer than 2 years so this will be a huge concern for Asian market.
You have no idea how these products have been stored/kept/used and as for Asian markets concerns for us that have lived there for many years and sold our devices to friends etc and read local tech reviewers there are no such postings of such concerns

This is just rhetoric at best from you and presumably has no credibility
I believe tech reviewers who have a bigger sample size than you.
Then equally you have to believe that many of them said its multiple OEMs or are you only playing selective quoting

Please note the 9th minute onwards from your own posting of a tech reviewer

Regardless it should make people worried their S22 Ultra is going to bulge very soon. Plenty of evidence but I understand you guys love Samsung so much you will turn a blind eye to it. You simply can’t discredit pure evidence though - Samsung batteries are bulging at a higher rate and potentially dangerous.

You have not given plenty of evidence or cited the many you claim, just unsubstantiated rhetoric

We are happy to listen to genuine concerns, but not rumour mongering and spamming click bait

So what phone do you use? Do you have an iPhone? There is plenty of eveidense that iPhones batteries swell as much as any other litium ion battery on the market. Are you returning it?
Do you have an Apple laptop? Maybe a MBP? Are you returning that as well? The eveidense out there suggest MBP batteries swell up too. Airlines have even banned them from flights.

Are you posting these types of warnings in the iPhone threads? Why not? They all use the same battery technology.

It seems here you have a bias against Samsung. But you ignore the fact that Apple has the same batteries in their products as well and have proven to have the same issues.

What evidence is there that our S22 Ultras will bulge "very soon" as you put it?

The evidence shows that devices not in use and stored, have been bulging. At this stage its been just a few people reporting it. A couple of YouTube videos.
