Yea you didn't come here to start a fight

While I can't comment on Samsung's version of Android, I use pure Android my Galaxy Nexus. You're totally wrong about the current version of Android needed to catch up to Apple. Heck I'm even willing to say Apple is need to catch up to Android. If you like doing things Apple's way, then maybe not.

Nonetheless, that's why I went with a phone that gets updates without having to wait for other companies to push out their versions. No fragmentation here. :)

Oh and you could sell it easily. Plenty would love to have it. Wishing is nothing without action.

great answer, you took words right out of my mouth. i also use a nexus device(nexus 4) and with the 4.2 JB i don't think android needs to catch up with iOS, android is already way ahead, 4.2 JB is great, it's fast and smooth, offers great battery life(at least on my nexus 4), i dont think it's a mess, it's way better than iOS(at least for me). in my opinion, it's the iOS who needs to catch up with android.

Paranoia has nothing to do with it. There maybe some places or some pics that you dont want the public to know about. You said it yourself, those settings are ENABLED by default. Not good in my opinion but if you like private pics uploaded by default online then more power to you.

These settings are not enabled by default nor did the user you quoted say that. They also don't turn on or off automatically on my phone...can't find any google reports of the issue either. AFAIK, Pics also won't upload to google unless you enable it within the Google Plus app.

Honestly, you should just stick with IOS if it is what you like...why do you even have a S3 phone anyways?

you know that those pictures even if enabled are uploaded to a private access only.

Also going to point out that it is not enabled by default. You are ask the first time you open up some of those respect apps in a yes no setting.

Google plus first time you open it up it ask you if you want to auto upload all pictures and it only uploads if you press Yes. Those pictures are just uploaded to a private library that only you have access to and make it easier to share if you so choose.

So you might what to check those facts again.
