I'm not stressing the updates. I went into this fully knowing Samsung phones get OS updates at least 8-9 months after Google officially releases them. It used to be a bigger deal but now it seems like OS updates don't really have that much substance to them and Google can release much more outside of the OS updates. I am much more curious about UI 3.0 though as Samsung really seems like they are on fire with their customization of Android, honestly if Google just gave Samsung full control over vanilla Android I'd be very happy as Google is so freakin boring these days.

Don't go spouting this off in Pixel forums... users will bring out their pitchforks yelling travesty! I mean, I do like the customization Samsung provides with Android. However, it's not for everyone... some folks prefer the stock feel of Android.

Both have their merits. I prefer Pixel UI because of the aesthetic and the feature tie ins like call screening. I like that Samsung throws the kitchen sink at you in terms of features even if only a handful are actually useful. But I still prefer Google's more restrained approach.

I'm indifferent to them both. I just like the fact Samsung provides features to keep users invested.

Same! But we should be get it in the next few days. I'm just glad to see some update activity.

Samsung has a pretty robust call screening feature as well, well it's really Hiya but it's provided free at least on the Fold 2. I'm really impressed with this feature. It may be a function of my not having been on Android/Samsung in years, but I feel like I find something new to be impressed with from Samsung every day.

Not sure whats going on with the battery life on my fold 2. Past few days it’s been getting lower than expected screen time. 29% and on 3 hours, 30 mins usage.

Tapatalk is taking up 24%.

Has there been a recent update for Tapatalk that might be causing this?

Battery life back to normal today

4 hours, 5 mins screen time with 58% left. BT sport has been used for a lot of it due to Saturday being football day.

Dunno if it was still an issue with Tapatalk but mainly been using chrome for the forums that i was using Tapatalk for. Weird.

I like using Samsung Internet Browser (beta).. like the Adblocking and Dark Mode feature on it. But, I tend to use both.. all depends if I'm actively on the browser.

Yeah samsung internet is a big plus as it’s all dark mode everything but macrumours on the browser looks better I would say on chrome on dark mode.

What's crazy is they from everything I've read, it sounds like that cheap AI Autofocus case floating around ebay and Amazon is the best case for the Fold 2 thus far.
