Has anyone took the folding display screen protector off yet? If so, how it working out?

Yes, while walking the dog, using my phone closed and one handed, I dropped it onto a rough asphalt road and tore a corner of the front protector. So I peeled the rest off.

The feel didn't change much, until I realized it was still a bit gummy, and wiped it down. Then it became smoother and lost the original cushy feel. It also gave a marginally better display. In any case, I liked it well enough that shortly afterwards I removed the inside protector as well.

Been a week like that. So far, so good. No scratches, but does seem to show dust and breath droplets more.

PS. Out of old habit I still use my iPad mini to post here. But out of new habit, I sometimes try to fold the mini when I'm done with it lol!

I been took the front display protecter off due to it getting foggy, now the folding display is showing the same. I only notice this when the display is off, or mostly black. I'll give it a couple more days before I decide to take it off or not.

That's much thinner than 99% of the cases I'm seeing so far, very nice. Can you post your thoughts on using the kickstand. You guys all know I'm a HUGE proponent of kickstands and just find any tablet without a kickstand as being incomplete. Does the kickstand provide good stability? Can you poke the screen and not have it fall over? In particular those questions but with it open. (bonus points for a video :p )

All good here, looks and feels better and had no issues at all.

I think I'm leaving mine on, or at least will be looking for a higher quality one to replace. I just sold my iPhone and even though it was babied the screen still had little micro swirls visible at just the right angle, so I couldn't say it was truly in mint condition. I can only imagine what kind of swirls or marks the soft screen over the glass is going to get after a year of use.

My point exactly! It's all well in good for a couple months, but when the next generation comes around... that screen going to to show some visible scratches at a certain angle as you just mention.

For anyone thinking about getting a glass camera protector from whitestone.... don't buy it. It causes a haze/glare when using flash... I'm sure there might be others that also causes this problem. I emailed Whitestone and they said thats expected.. wth.

@spinedoc77 ..hopefully you can get a better idea...upload seemed to hurt the quality of video ..

Edit: link replaced with better quality hopefully

Awesome video, TY! That looks like the absolute best case out there IMO, I'm going to grab one for sure. Just have to remember to maybe support it with my hand in the back if I'm going to be poking at it a lot.

I’m really happy with it especially keeping the slim feel compared to other cases ...it will be my daily and just use my Spigen for extreme days ... I reached out to Ringke since I’ve always used their cases on every phone I’ve ever owned ...

Samsung just upped the trade in price in the US for people still wanting to get a Fold 2. And it's a pretty significant bump. During preorders Samsung were offering $550 for my S20 Plus and now they'll give me $700 for it.

Yeah, I seen it on a Reddit thread. A few tried to see about getting a refund, but it’s crazy how some preorders haven’t been filled. However, Samsung looking to sell more.

I don’t have a horse in a race, although I wish I could of gotten more of a discount with it. It is what it is, I’m enjoying it... planning on keeping it for awhile.

I'm waiting for the same to happen in the UK.

Give me £700 trade in for my Note 10 plus and I am buying (currently £450).

I used a Xiaomi Mi 20W Wireless Charging Stand to charge the Samsung Z Fold 2. Unfortunately, when the phone was open, the phone fell off the cordless stand while charging. Therefore I designed an extension for the Charging Stand, that stabilizes the opened Fold 2. With strong 3M double-sided adhesive, we can secure that 3d printed extra bracket.

If you want to make it too, I uploaded the 3d file here:
