I’m guessing he‘s gonna have segment dedicated to his experience with the Fold on Connected podcast, but I wonder if he actually paid for it.. or is a loner.

But judging from his twitter feed.. he seems pleasantly delighted by it.
He’s an iPad guy so it will be interesting to hear his take on it.

That under display camera is an odd one. As others have said, there’s plenty of other cameras on the thing that would do a better job.

I think they’d have been better leaving it off altogether although at least they’re giving it a go. I think we all know for Fold 4 there will either be no camera there, or they will have listened and improved.
 
It’s looking great, but not quite there yet. Definitely a concept to watch though.

Yeah, I listened to him this morning . Found out he actually purchased with the intention of keeping it to make him balanced as a tech reviewer.

But throughout the segment... he was pleased with everything, from how much preferences and customization that Android had to offer. He mentioned that he's been away from Android for about 4 years, but its like the Fold is a whole new experience for him.

In regards to multitasking, he was impressed with the amount of windows that can be opened at a time... he indicated it was different from the direction (rigidity and limitation) Apple has with the iPad. Shared my thoughts on the concept of the Fold which is not a tablet device, but a bigger phone.

Spoke about the new pin-task bar feature for the Fold 3... he enjoyed using that, which I'm excited to use for OneUI 3.1.1. But he did bring up that there is a lack of apps to take advantage of the Fold, criticize that there isn't any acknowledgement of what apps are optimized for the Fold in the Play Store. And didn't really like the design of OneUI, however... didn't go into specifics of it.

I’m about to order either a Flip or Fold. What are the main cameras comparable to? Currently have an iPhone 11. Are they at least better than that?

Difficult to say as there have been no reviews. The specs indicate that they are equal to the S21/S20 camera but not as good as the S21 ultra camera.

I doubt they will go no camera. That negates the ability to video chat on the main screen. The camera appears good enough to serve that purpose now. I'm sure it will be improved in future iterations of the fold.

This is not a Samsung issue. This is a developer issue. Given that the Z Fold 3 was intended for August 27th launch, Hulu did not anticipate UK buyers getting their early. Hulu is most likely working on an update. Same with Netflix. I expect an update in the play store next week or by first week of September.

Oh not saying it’s a Samsung issue. By all means, it looks like a great device. I just worry about App compatibility as a whole.

Samsung have addressed this and gives an option to force apps to use the full screen - according to YouTube.
