I’m sure if I used SwiftKey... I’ll probably like it, but I don’t have a problem with the stock keyboard… it never failed me. Plus with the addition of KeysCafe and ThemePark… I’m alright with it.

So, your done with foldables completely? You upgrade to the Fold 3… only to get rid of both Fold 2 and 3?

I'm done for this round, I just can't figure out a way to keep both phones on me at the same time.

I've gotten close to packing the Fold 3 up to ship it back but there are so many things I like about it. I've changed my tune on the cameras. They are much better than I thought before. The inner one is still trash, but the outer ones are really good.

I think I would definitely keep it if I wasnt so intrigued by what Google might be doing with the Pixel 6. I'm still up in the air.

Anybody else get the regular Watch 4? I upgraded from the Watch 3 (more akin to the new "classic"). The software is much much better. So far I like it.

I'm really liking the S Pen on this phone, have been using it quite a bit. That said, I absolutely hate the Samsung case with the S pen holder.

Yea, I'm not to fond of the case either. I was never really into flip cases. But I like the S-Pen holder that you can detach from the case. I'll be using that more than the case itself.

So sadly I just packed up and returned my Fold 3. I still have my Fold 2, will most likely throw that up on Swappa. I had planned on using 2 phones, as I'm forced to go back to an iPhone for work. But in practice it's just too bulky, I mean the combination of 2 phones not just the Fold 3. I'll keep looking at this thread and live vicariously through everyone else until maybe 2026 when maybe Apple *might* have a foldable phone.
Oh man sorry to see this post.. What iPhone are you using? I'm having no issues with iPhone 12 and Fold... On days where I'm in shorts though I've found it easier to slide Fold into thin pouch and carry iphone along with it.. Makes it easier to carry for me with no pockets...

New addition to the family. I'm trading in my S21 Ultra... so this should be an interesting transition.

I’m surprised you went with the fold to be honest as I know you mentioned the concerns from the fold 2.

Using two phones certainly is a challenge and I would agree due to the bulk of the fold I don’t think I could cope with say 12 pro max and fold 3 in the pocket in most situations.

I'm on a 12, just waiting on the new phones so I can get a 13 pro max. I thought about some sort of belt holder, because having them both in my shorts/scrubs really weighs me down. But I think what really got me was not having both in the same ecosystem, so I'd constantly be having to switch in between the 2 when I got a call, text, etc, as well as the battery hit to share my internet connection.

I have the regular Watch 4. I didn't even the classic, because I felt it wouldn't look right when I'm extremely dressed down (t-shirt and sweatpants). So far I'm looking the Watch 4. Also, I'm being told I sound decent when I talk on it.

Understand completely... I don't carry iphone Max so that definitely adds to it... I work behind desk so easier for me during work hours...

Well, a lot of my issues with the Fold 2 have been improved upon. I now believe foldables are the future, previously I wasn't convinced.

Hardware feels much more durable this time. Software is making leaps forward (still not there yet). At this point, I think my only major gripe is front screen size. And even that isn't bad. I was never that close to keeping the Fold 2. Im much more torn this time around. Honestly if the Pixel 6 was shaping up to be more like the Pixel 5, I would definitely keep this. I'm still undecided.

I forgot to mention one other problem that I think will be more difficult to solve....battery life. It's not terrible, but it's definitely not great. And since this phone is meant to be a power user device, it needs to be great. But I don't see how they accomplish that with current battery tech. Logic says, just increase battery size. But then you create the problem of having the phone be unmanageably large and it's already right on the brink of that.

I’m surprised they deceased the battery size. I thought maybe it makes sense if s pen was built into the phone which was what I was expecting I must admit.

It does seem Samsung refined the fold this year with better optimisation and having some kind of water resistant. Seems a better option for the average person than the fold 2 which I will be honest I felt so nervous taking it out Incase it got wet or damaged for whatever reason.

I think their mindset was battery will still be ok given the SoC and display improvements. And they knew that had to make the phone lighter and more pocketable, even if only by a small amount.

Just checked Swappa because I was curious of what people were selling new Fold 3s for there....$1250!

That's an incredible amount of depreciation.

I have money ready for iP13pro this year, and this is first time hesitate to buy this guy instead. No way to leave Apple on-line services, I am too rooted with all family. “2 devices way” is only way I think, I have not tried it though, I will wait one more year, next year I won`t probably resist

Consider they probably paid cash only around $900 after trade-ins and deals, they make a profit. I only paid $831 before taxes after my trade in of the Fold 2.

For those curious about the screen size, it is almost identical to the iPad mini screen without bezels. Was pretty cool to see in person. Definitely enjoying the Fold 3. Definitely NOT impressed with its battery life though. Seems Chrome and Google Maps (2 of my more used apps) drain this thing with no remorse.
