I’ve been getting messages to post a video to check for tint. Here it is

I personally see nothing. Minor color shifts due to screen protector that are visible on my wife’s 15 plus as well. Rest happy to hear opinions. It’s a LG GVC screen. Absolutely uniform. Tried all sorts of grey.
Do you see this green blob in the middle of your screen (perhaps another way of saying it is the surrounding area is pink)? If you don’t see it in day to day use then maybe it’s just the camera exaggerating it. The screen doesn’t look uniform to me in the picture though.

Nope.

Damn I expected quite a few replies
Oh I saw now the notifications. I saw you also posted this in the iPhone 16 Pro subreddit. :D It's kinda hard to say what's better, because of the overall video compression. There is definitely difference in color temperature, but other than that It's tough. The left looks brighter for sure.

Thanks for confirming my hunch.
16PM x LG Display - one just can't go wrong with this combo.
Pretty much worst combo. LG are worse in terms of OLED materials. Not so effiecient since, just 1 color uses deuterium. Samsung's M14 is pretty much superior. If you are lucky and get good Samsung - it's a WIN.

For me screen uniformity is the key, and I was lucky to get a perfect LG panel in the second device, after first Samsung (G9P) was yellow tinted and also had uniformity issues. However, while keeping the second one (GH3), I tried my luck again with a third device and got another Samsung (G9N this time), also with uniformity issues from top (pink/reddish) to bottom (yellow/greenish). So I returned that one on spot and kept the LG this time around.
Bottom line: I don't giva a f*** about M14, materials and deuterium as long as the uniformity is garbage, and also I guess I am too old for the screen lottery.

Agree 1000%. Would you rather have the most efficient screen tech on the planet with terrible uniformity or a slightly less efficient screen with perfect uniformity. Easy choice for me. I'm not giving Apple a pass, but no way would they release a phone that has noticeable variance in battery life between the same models using different screen manufacturers.

You can line up 10,000,000 people. I bet none of them would be able to tell any difference between this legendary M14 screen vs. LG if they appeared identical to the naked eye. I've owned several recent flagships that look 100 times better than these Samsung panels. BOE in particular, have all been perfect screens for me.

I went to s25 ultra for a few weeks because I can’t just exchange my iPhone in my country. I found someone selling this so I thought I’d go check.

My last iPhone was a Samsung screen. Too warm bottom cool. The most annoying thing ever.

When I saw this phone, the uniformity was perfect. The whites are really white as in the screen is really cool temp. Some people might hate it but the uniformity did it for me.

The tint at angles etc are absent I think for me. My screen doesn’t turn another color. It’s just the minor variation you see when using a screen protector.

I’ll be keeping this phone for a long ass time. I might let go early if I can move to a country where I can return 20 iPhones like in the US.
