I installed the BSE screen only protector around 40 hours ago and it's looking pretty bad (lots of micro bubbles and lines, some parts not staying down too well (this is not my first install of these type of protectors). I just took it off and screen looks so much better without it. Since it came with 4 i will try again tonight to see if i can do better.

really starting to think the screen protector is not worth it. These wet installed really don't look very good compared to glass and whats the point in always looking it and not getting the full experience of the beautiful screen. The benefit of preventing scratches ends up being for the next person you sell the watch to.

I have a BSE installed on my watch and it looks really good. And I'm sure you've seen others with the BSE skin installed. The only difference is the feel which is less slippery but very negligible to be honest.

Here is mine on my watch:

Does the BSE have the orange peel type feel? And how much better is it than the armorsuit, skinomi?

Never tried Skinomi but I have tried Armorsuit.

This is definitely better quality than AS and sticks better as well. Plus I love the fact that it covers a little bit more than just the screen.

Think I'm gonna try out the screen only version. I have my full body installed so I don't need it to extend past the screen.

OK I think I'm done with installing screen protectors on my watch. Pulled my case off to clean it and the protector is coming up on the corners again!! So pulled it off and just put my monoy case back on to cover screen. I'm still patiently waiting on my orzly case to arrive so I can see how it's any better than the monoy.

Ya the screen protectors are tough. I installed my second BSE and this install much better but one slight brush against something and side comes up. I sprayed it down again and was able to instal the corner again and it looks ok but I can tell these things don't last

Hopefully eventually they come out with a tempered glass with rounded edges soon. I emailed iloome and they are currently working on a glass screen protector for the apple watch.

Just received my Spigen Crystal protectors and they are RUBBISH. They don't even fill the entire screen. Ive seen loads on here that basically JUST cover the main screen which these do! Pointless! waste of money!

That's strange. I actually have the BSE installed on three watches. Mine, my fiancee's and my friend. All of us have no issues at all over the past month.

They really are quite worthless and terrible. I had these installed before I got my BSE protectors.

You feel the edges every time when you swipe for your notifications and glances.

Bought the Monoy Slim Premium Snap On Case in PC Hard Clear. The design is really slick, as it covers not only the watch face, but most of the outer perimeter of the watch itself (less the dial, button, speaker and mic). Works great with no disruption to the touch screen. HOWEVER, mine arrived all scratched up and scuffed out of the box. Anyone else who got this have the same problem? I'm returning it for another, so I'll update with what I get.

I finally got my 42mm SGS watch and I ordered a Spigen case which came with two screen protectors. I installed one on my watch and I can barely see that it's even on the watch. I have no idea why so many people on this forum complain so much about screen protectors.

It's not just about the visibility of the screen protector.

The Spigen Screen protector is a half thought protector which doesn't cover the entire screen. Try swiping up for glances and swipe down now to see your notifications, doesn't the protector edge catch on your finger?

If you've tried other higher quality screen protectors, either on your phones or other devices, you too would be complaining. Either that or some people simply settle with less. Which honestly is like buying a hot coffee and getting a lukewarm one instead and people would say, "well, it's still coffee...".

I installed my second BSE a week ago and just took it off. This time install went pretty well but there were still some areas in which micro bubbles didn't disappear. Visibility is ok but orange peel is annoying. Furthermore a small brush or touch will start to lift corners and they are hard to put back without more bubbles which don't go away.

All in all over short period of time the protectors start to look bad and what's the point of protecting the screen if it looks bad all the time. Isn't that what we are trying to prevent?

For the gym, instead of putting my Spigen Rugged Armor on each time, I'm trying out just a tennis sweat band.

Although the Spigen is easy to put on, I only use it for the gym.

Soft, thick enough to prevent a metal to metal knock. Temporary and can be used as a sweat band too. Cheap.

Should protect screen as well as any plastic film.

Good for other outdoor stuff.

Been using the Zagg Invisible Shield since iPhone 4, always ben happy with that. I did have a spare Zagg protector I figured I may try to use for the watch - just needed to be cut to size. My X-Acto knife had a hard time making a precise cut.

Anyway, I got the Zagg HD InvisibleShield for the 42mm..hesitant because basically you have one shot to get it right or run the risk of this becoming a air bubbled mess in the process you basically flushed 20 bucks down the toilet. BUT I have the sport and need a little piece of mind to prevent an easy scratch on the Ion glass.

Placed it on last night, pushed out the air bubbles, the curved side is a bit tricky. When I was done it did leave what looked like a real noticeable bubble right smack on the watch face. It didn't look great. I was pretty disgusted, went to bed. It did clear up though as I slept. I do have a very tiny bubbles - one on the curve below the 7 hour mark and on the side next to the "Contacts / Power" button. Not something that bugged me like last night.

What I didn't like about this is the squeegee they provide. It's oversized, large, and plastic. Made it awkward to remove the bubbles off the small screen. I ended up using one of those small flexible thin plastic "Savings Cards" you put on your Keychain. (Like those keychain CVS BonusCard, local grocery store SavingsCard, etc) That worked far better. It's not perfect, but for now it works.

I have a screen protector because of the Space Grey version and I'm glad I have it. Because The screen is the most important item for re-sell.
