I was very "anti-screen protector" but I decided to take the plunge on the armor suit protector. I've only had it on for a few days, but very impressed on the fit. It's almost seamless with the edge of the screen and can barely see it on there. It does leave a bit of a matte finish almost on the screen and isn't quite as smooth swiping on the screen, but I think it is a good product for what it is.

I got my 42 mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch for Christmas and have had a Monoy Hard Protective Case on it since it came out of the box. Today, I was very disappointed to discover that the case has scratched the stainless steel housing in 3-4 places on my watch which is something I was afraid could happen. Just wanted others to be aware of this. I think I will take my chances and go naked unless I find something else.

I'm using Devia smart case for my 38mm. Has anyone used this case? Hopefully it doesn't scratch the sides.

I just put the armor suit on my S2 space gray. I'm very happy with how it went on and how it looks

I just bought a Series 1 42mm watch. Which brand is the best in terms of coverage and ease of applying? Thanks!

Here's a thought-

Was at mall today, went to my favorite screen protector kiosk. One of the guys who works there had an Apple Watch series 0 42mm with ION-X screen. He told me in the past he put a 42mm film on his series 0, although his jacket would lift of the edges from normal use.

He then put a 38mm on his 42mm series 0. Been on for months.. Hasn't peeled yet.

They didn't have any glass protectors yet.

Had a 38mm installed on my series 2 Nike today. So far so good.

Anyone else try this? 38mm protector on 42mm device.

What protector did you use? Easy install? Do you have a link?

Thanks!

Thanks! Was it easy to install? I tried the Skinomi, but can't get the edges to stay down.
[doublepost=1493995425][/doublepost]Does the Apple store sell screen protectors for the watch? I want one that covers the whole face (including curved part).

i will admit it was a pain and you may have similar issues. but i think the armorsuit is one of the best available. need lots of time and patience over a day or two. don't expect it to go on just like that. you need to wet it, then give it some time to dry enough to adhere little by little, and there will be corners and spots that continue to lift up and you need to be persistent and keep holding them down. eventually it will almost all stick. and once it's fully cured and dried, it will really be like a second skin. i only have one tiny little spot that didn't perfectly stay down. i can barely even see anything on my watch from a foot away, and i wash the watch and work out with it and no signs of anything peeling off. one trick i used was to utilize saran wrap. i found that once i got most of the skin to stick pretty well, i could take saran wrap and kind of pull it tight around tough corners that didn't want to stay down, and then sort of bunch up the saran wrap and twist it to keep those areas down while it dried a bit (as long as some air can escape, because it sticks when it dries). then i would remove the saran wrap and hold the watch in my hands and press on those tricky spots for several minutes at a time over and over again while watching tv or something. anything that still won't stay down, you can just get a bit of water on it and try again.

the link i posted is to both a full body skin and a screen protector that goes over the curved edges. the screen protector doesn't cover 100% of the screen, but comes pretty close. just a millimeter or two between the protector and the case. apple store i think mostly sells ones that don't cover the curved part, but not entirely sure.

I got Screenforce Invisiglass from Belkin for Series 1 42mm. I had them install it for me in Best buy.

The guy that was installing it failed two times, and I had him try it over. Third time he did a good job. (I know I'd **** it up myself, but than I wouldn't get the replacement)

It doesn't cover the whole thing. I can slightly feel the edges sometimes. The thing is, it is sold like it feels like the regular screen. It does. I can say that I like it.

Got it for a few days now, and it didn't get any scratches on the cover itself. It was almost $30 with taxes and installation.

I'd say overpriced but not too bad.

Hey everyone. I wanted to give a little bit of info here in case it helps anyone else out who wants a protector on their watch. After getting my watch last year I went through tons of different brands of soft (wet-install) screen protectors (did not try any glass ones).

I tried Skinomi, Tech Armor, Best Skins Ever, some generic ones from ebay, even a cool +-shaped one with no corners. All of these protectors did not last more than a month at the extreme before the corners started coming up. (The +-shaped one didn't have that problem of course, but it did pull up when it rubbed on something the first time) Pretty much all of them had it start to happen after just a few days, and very slowly got worse over time.

I happen to try one on amazon that had good reviews and this one has been amazing. The corners went down very easily (just like the others, let it sit for 20-30 before doing the corners) and stayed down. This protector feels like it has a much stronger adhesion to the screen though. Even after weeks of use it looks like when I had just put it on. Corners have not come up at all so far. I even pulled up the top-middle to get a hair out from underneath and after wetting, it has stayed down like I never touched it!

I'm very, very impressed with these so I thought I'd share. I'm going to link the amazon page, but I am not affiliated in any way so don't even start that. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G7UJI2M - I have only tried the 42mm so far (but I expect I will buy the 38 for my wife when she's ready to replace her current BSE one)

Here are some pictures (since most really like those), but it's hard to get a good shot of such a thing so I apologize for the smudges and hair!

Just an update 10 days later. It's been quite wet many times, I've bumped it into a wall (hard enough to get a lot of paint on it), it's been scrubbed clean (to get said paint off), and yet still the corners are not coming up at all! The whole thing is still attached like the first day! I am completely shocked by this.

Just got mine in the mail today, I'll give it a shot. Did you use a hair dryer or anything, or just let it sit for 20-30 minutes before doing the corners?

Sorry it took so long to respond (didn't get an email).

I just let it sit. I used my normal soap/water spray, applied and squeeged out the face so it was stuck well. Let it sit for 20-30, and then pushed down the corners. Pushed them down for a few minutes but it was by far the easiest corner application so far.

Please let me know your results. I'm curious to know if these really are this good or if I just got extremely lucky. My first one still has perfecf corner adhesion!

So far I'm pretty happy with mine! I might redo it soon, just to see if I can get it on a little better, but it's definitely the best one I've tried (only the second one...)!

I just put the Zagg HD Clear wet application on. It's not as smooth as I would like, but we'll have to see how long it lasts. I registered it with Zagg, so that should help if it needs to be replaced.

After 23 pages, going through posts people debating and arguing way back. I still have no clue. I have one of those belkin protectors from bestbuy. After like 2-3 weeks I noticed something under glass that obviously got there during installed ( dumb Best Buy people) even dumber me for not seeing it. But I want replace it, does anyone have recommendations for protectors that will work with case. I use the xdoria defense edge bumper.
