These look interesting:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tuff-Luv-C...+Zero+Air+Bubble+for+Apple+Watch+42mm+-+Black

Seems that they are just about THE only tempered glass protectors which will ALSO cover the curved portion of your Apple Watch.

I'm currently still using my Skinomis (as per my posts above!) but I've noticed a few bubbles along the edges, starting to creep in (where the protector is starting to lose its adhesiveness!) - and its doing my OCD head in!!!!

Bought a packet of Spigen Crystal Clear protectors for my 42mm Space Grey watch - I think the protector looks pretty good (you can barely see if when looking at the watch).

For what it is worth....

I have an samsung s7 edge with glass curved protector.
yes covers the curves.

I do not own an iwatch, but I would fit a glass protector as cheaper that break than the actual face/screen.

I have an android smartwatch with a impact absorbent gel protector.

these things cost alot, well worth protecting!

I ordered these off Amazon. Had the best reviews out of any of them. Will post a review once I get them.

I just installed the one on my 42mm SS watch, and patience is the key to get it around the sides all down. I just kept working it for 20 minutes or so, and it finally seated well. Now you can't even tell it's on. Very little orange peel. Also hides the small fine scratches that were already on it. Will report after a while of having it on, to let others know how it does. Still has some water under it that will work it's way out itself over the next week or so but not noticeable.

While there have been a lot of debate on using cases and screen protectors for a watch, my lifestyle and work will benefit from having a screen protector and for my sense of well being.
I've googled around and was wondering what everyone is ordering. I was lucky to get be in the wave of shipping on 4/24. I wonder how well these will fit? Will a glass screen protector like the iPhone work with the force touch?
protecter defiantly helps you to protect you screen from damage, i also use glass screen protector and its working well

A year in and my Sport has only a couple of light scratches. I wear it all day, every day and don't use a case or screen protector. Not only are they ugly but they are really not needed!

Does it cover the (curved) edges of the screen ?

I´m considering the Zagg because of the curved sides protection. You can find it on ebay.co.uk

The Spigen does NOT cover the curved parts of the glass, however, it comes pretty close. In fact, these are the only protectors which I have seen which actually come as far as possible, before the screen actually starts to curve. Most protectors come WAY short of the curved glass (they are literally just a small horrible square), but the Spigen comes as close as possible.

I haven't tried the Zagg wet install ones however, I have used the Skinomi ones - which are pretty good (if you don't mind the 'orange peel' effect which ALL wet install protectors end up with).

$14 to keep my $400 watch looking new doesn't sound wasteful to me. The curved edges are the parts more likely to get damage in daily usage

Anyone using a screen protector and case combo? Thinking about getting the Spigen Rugged Armor for the 38mm Series 2 I pre-ordered. It comes with screen protectors but apparently they aren't very good.

I had this screen protector on my original watch, paired with a BSE skin. The case held the edges of the skin down well, as it wrapped around the curve.
However the Series 2 is 0.9mm thicker, so none of the existing cases will fit. I emailed Spigen about their plans but they weren't letting on.

Well the Spigen Rugged case on Amazon says it is series 2 compatible, went ahead and ordered one.

Update: I still don't have my Watch but got his email from Spigen. Looks like it probably won't fit, even though they advertise it will on Amazon. The [email address removed] was in the original email, makes it pretty hard for me to contact them about it, doesn't it. Grrrr

It has been brought to our attention by our manufacturers, that there is a chance that your ordered Apple Watch (38) Rugged Armor Black may have a slight misalignment when it's put on the Apple Watch Series 2.

If you are experiencing this issue, please message us back at [e-mail address removed] before leaving any kind of feedback. We will be able to assist you right away.

My first AW is coming on Thursday. Do I need a screen protector? I have my iPhone in a Lifeproof case, but that's mainly because I have two little ones at home who like to play around with it.

If I do need one, what's the best one to get?

I didn't use a screen protector on my SS watch series 0, and I ended up with a few light scratches on the sapphire screen. When I downgraded to the Aluminum with the IonX, I decided to put a protector on. I am glad I did. I whacked the hell out of it on a wall and the protector got a giant paint streak on it. It's likely the screen would have scratched without the protector.

Wait, you received scratches on a Sapphire Screen on a Stainless Steel Series 0 watch? Pretty much the only way this could happen is if you rubbed the screen with diamonds. Sapphire is almost impossible to scratch. I would think Apple would swap this out if true.

I bought skinomi ones off Amazon I think its a good idea. They are only 7.85 so a cheap investment.
