I have some weird bug. My external Monitors is flickering when a green color is shown. Really weird.

EDIT: Looks like it has something to do with Firefox.

M1 Mac mini.

* I updated (OTA) to DB4 from DB3 and my Mac after a short blank screen it just stays open with nothing happening at monitor. Bluetooth devices are disconnected, so it doesn’t run in the background.

* Tried restore from Time Machine, same problem.

* Recovery mode, reinstalled Sonoma (it installs DB3). Everything works good.

* Reinstalled DB 4, same problem. A small square icon up left, black screen, dead.

* I am reinstalling Sonoma right now and I don’t intend to install again db4 unless a new version arrives. DB3 is good anyways :)

I just hope recovery still installs DB3 and not DB4

It appears to me that Private Relay has stopped working after updating from public beta 3 to developer beta 4.

Has anyone encountered the same issue? My device is Mac Studio 2022.

Wow, they seem to have one of the most annoying behaviors for me over the last couple of years.

Safari in full screen mode- If you moved your pointer up to the main menu bar of the screen, the green and red close / minimalist buttons would slide onto the top left of the window. If you then clicked the search bar, a dropdown list of your favorites would appear. Moving the pointer to try to click one of these favorites would result in the drop down list closing on you, so it wasn't possible to pick one. Was due to those green and red buttons animating off the menu.

Hard to describe. It essentially meant if you moved your pointer a little too high when trying to click into the search field, you'd have to do it all second time if you wanted to choose a favorite website.

My M2 Studio on Beta 4 does not exhibit this buggy behaviour. I wonder how widespread this problem is?

I have exactly the same problem with my MacBook Pro 16 M1Max.
Could only solve it with a reinstallation of the system via recovery mode, luckily there is still the Beta 3.M1 Mac mini here.

On my MacPro7,1 Apple Music crashes a few seconds after launch, creating a new library doesn't help. Am I the only one with this issue? Jumped directly to b4, so can't say if it is specific to this release

FWIW, I'm on an M1 MBP running b4 and am having no issues with the Music app at all.

Do you have any Airplay receivers in the home? Shortly before crashing the app says it can't connect to xxx-Airplay-Receiver

Anyone get a prompt to reenter their iCloud recovery code? I got a system-level notification asking me to confirm that my recovery code was correct, which I hadn't seen before.
I had this prompt as well. Went smoothly, but first I've ever seen this, too.

Is yesterday’s dev beta 4 released to the public beta yet? This thread title has got me confused. 🫤
