Hmm...still in ZZ for 3 days now with a “tentative” delivery date of Wednesday. UPS says my phone isn’t moving because of the Wednesday delivery; what a vicious circle. It’s nice to see others getting theirs delivered but I ordered at 12:03 PST at launch and this is definitely not what I expected. Done this every year since the 3G and never had this kind of negative experience. How do I end up with a tentative delivery of Wednesday when all others in same scenario are getting delivered Monday? I’m in the PNW but it shouldn’t matter.

And still nothing - phone stuck in ZZ for 3 days now and no movement at all. This can’t be good. I have pre-ordered every iPhone since the 3G (3G and 3GS had to be picked up at ATT store) and will not be putting myself through this again. Why aren’t these things moving? It could have been here by now - 3 days is a long time for nothing to happen.

i have high confidence that we will get an update sometime soon that will re-confirm our tuesday delivery.

What a freakin nightmare - I don’t have any confidence at this point. Called UPS again and was told that packages don’t move on Saturday/Sunday which is total BS. UPS may not deliver on weekends (Saturday delivery is optional but extra I think at shippers discretion) but packages move worldwide 24/7. Plus it’s now Monday in ZZ so just more BS. Definitely going in-store next year after 12 years of launch day pre-orders.

My delivery time from UPS for Monday is getting earlier.
From 3-to end of day. Then before 3pm.
Now it’s by 1:45pm.
Pleased.

This is not about getting it on or close to launch day. It is all about my schedule and availability.

Now i’ll Just need to get a Zagg screen protector and a good fitting case.
I’m lousy at getting those screen protectors on and there’s a Zagg kiosk right outside my local Apple Store and these two guys are masters at doing a super clean, full contact, secure installation.

My UPS originally said Tuesday but has moved up to early Monday afternoon.

Please post any changes to your status, and when you ordered, with the time zone.

At least we can get some kind of idea of this.

I ordered at 3:07an Eastern time. That’s when it came online for me. Only 45 seconds to place order.
256 Space Gray Max.
Original delivery schelduled for Sept. 28 - Oct. 5
I’ve been in contact with Apple. Now on schedule with UPS for delivery September 24, early afternoon.
The people I spoke with and emailed at Apple we’re very courteous and helpful.

I just think when Apple has a launch event like this, UPS just becomes completely overwhelmed. It’s happened to them and Fed-X before with Amazom and the Christmas rush, at least here in the US.

Mine is also in ZZ with Tuesday delivery date on UPS website. Apple, on the other hand, says mine will arrive on Wednesday-Friday.

My delivery time showed up on the tracking about 20 minutes before my departure time. So you may be in luck.

They’re just saying that because the shipper has to do that. Based on the other posts here and order timing, I still have hope we will get an update either tonight regarding ZZ or tomorrow night that it is in Louisville.
