Still no trace of my Xs Max here. UPS screwed up massively, the parcel has been sitting at their distribution center since the 27th 6am EDT. Calling and inquiring didn't help.

EDIT: There's no apartment number and UPS did not show up at all.

Well the thread continues to grow...like some of you I was going through the same thing until my patience ran out and I just went to buy the phone outright and send the other one back. This was my first pre-order and the experience wasn’t good at all as everyone on this thread knows. I’ve periodically checked thread just to see who else was going through it and to find that people are still going through this shipping nightmare is crazy...I don’t regret canceling my pre-order at all, hell Apple has already received it. Just had to take control and ended up enjoying my IPhone xs Max on launch day. I hope each and every one of you who are still waiting end up enjoying your new iPhone when you receive it because I’m sure enjoying mine...haven’t had any issues with it at all. Don’t know if this was a thing but i just discovered that Siri can turn the flashlight off & on. Happy Friday everyone

There may be lots to complain about, but I ordered the Max a good 30 hours after it was available for preorder and got it in 12 days. There is no way I would have gotten it this early in previous years, so have some perspective!

Mine was supposed to be here Tuesday, October 2nd (originally ordered on Tuesday, September 25th). I just checked and now it's supposed to be here today by end of day. So it's about 5 days ahead of schedule. iPhone XS Max, Silver 64GB.

Can't wait, I had the X for a short while and while it was awesome I went back to the 8 Plus (various other reasons) but am looking forward to finally making the move to the Max.

This is very true. I remember the days where if you missed pre-orders or launch day, you'd be lucky to get one for a month.

Obviously times have changed, and anyone who wants one can/will get one. I think that goes across all tech/media too. Remember the days when people used to stand in line for the new Halo release? or the PS3 and Wii releases where people who missed launch had to wait for darn near 6 months to get one. Man faster/cheaper manufacturing and e-commerce have really killed that haven't they

So I raised hell with UPS. They called me and mentioned that I can pick it up at the local distribution center today between 7pm and 8pm. Lets see how this goes.

Just signed and got the package. My wife was nice enough not to open her phone that she got on Monday so we could open our phones together at home today after work. She waited for me so I'll wait till I get home (2+ hours from now). lol.

Update on my UPS issue. I was able to call and have them hold it at my local customer service center. The package was there within the next couple hours, walked in with no line around 2:30 PM, picked up the package and was good to go.

Had a lot of issues with the two-factor authentication. I had already deactivated my old phone, and my phone number was what I used to authenticate my account. But I found a good work around to that and was up and running eventually. Love the phone

Hmm...that's interesting. I was told by UPS (and I actually remember this being a thing when I did some seasonal work as a UPS helper back in the college days) that they have a strict zero-tolerance signature policy with Apple products, as they get stolen often. It either must be signed for at the door, picked up and signed for at a UPS facility, or if they leave you an infonotice on the first day, you can sign the back of it and they will leave it for you upon the 2nd delivery attempt.

I remember that too. That's why I was surprised. However, UPS knows me and my location is pretty secure. Now off to the Apple store to return it. So happy to hear about everyone getting their phones.

Absolutely loving the Xs Max. Reading on it is amazing. Face ID is a lot easier than I thought. Phone is heavier but the screen is amazing.

Had problems activating it on Verizon last night. Had to call in. But the rep was very helpful and in a few mins we were up and running.

Looking forward to a few years of usage. Both my wife’s phone and my phone battery are above design capacity by almost 200 mAh. Love it.

Coming from the 8+ this phone flies. Loving it.

Loving mine as well! This was the first year I restored from backup (always setup as new before) and absolutely love the large screen on the Max! This is the iPhone I have always wanted. Sure, iOS is a little dated but software can always be updated.

Finally at the airport to head home to my phone that delivered yesterday. I hope my family and puppy don't want any attention.

Xs MAX 512gb....that's a lot of space to fill, so I plan on putting all my music on it and important files I will always want with me.

I picked up mine at the local center! This Max is awesome! Really liking it so far.
