Strange how our phones started off on the same flight but now my phone is still sitting in Incheon, Korea. What's going on? This makes no sense now. Why would it go to Korea and not straight to Anchorage? Anyone else's phone in Korea? I hope my phone isn't being put onto the wrong flight or perhaps somehow got mixed up with someone else's order. Sigh. I'm starting to worry now.

Last year my phones went from ZhengZhou and stopped in Korea for a couple of days prior to continuing on to Anchorage. Yours was probably on a different plane out of China even if got the same scan time.

Thanks, I feel a bit better now knowing that. :)

My Xs Max Gold 512gb is finally in Anchorage too !
Just in time.... A "Low on storage" message just appeared on my 256gb iPhone X.

Thank you John!

Fingers crossed, even though FlightStats thinks that's a passenger plane.
It must be a cargo plane, right?

Apologies if this has been asked or if this is the wrong place, but it appears that UPS doesn't require a signature on my order. Is that the case with this release (ordered from Apple)?

You're welcome! If it's UPS, then it is a cargo plane.

To be sure, probably best to call UPS with the tracking number and ask them. That said, the drivers may have some discretion. If they don't feel comfortable leaving a package they probably won't even if a signature is not required.

good point!

Re: no signature required

If Apple is not requiring signatures now, I would be shocked. All my previous iPhones have required signatures. I don't recall if the official UPS status indicated it was required or not. If signatures aren't required, what's to prevent unethical people from simply claiming they did not receive it?

A couple years back my UPS driver told me that he was being followed by someone on a major iPhone delivery day, and he called the Austin police with their plate.

Of course, it could’ve just been someone who had just missed their delivery versus someone trying to steal a package left.

If you find that no signature is required on your delivery, please definitely post.

I installed a low-tech proximity sensor a couple years ago. (as opposed to a high-tech WiFi one that requires WiFi, though the Nest Hello doorbell is totally awesome.) The beep goes off if anyone is within 10' of the front door. So even if they "drop and run" i'll probably know.

I have the exact same thing, still stuck in Korea. I’m going to try reserve and pickup in store in the morning just to make sure I get one friday. I don’t think it will make it to Canada for Friday delivery. It would have to leave really soon

Sigh, it still hasn't moved for almost 2 days now. I really hope that the next flight will be straight to the UPS hub. I wonder what is taking so long for it to sit there in Korea.

My phone still shows sitting in Zhengzhou, since 9/18.

sigh

Same with my phone.

My iPhone is with yours!! Haha it's been in Incheon since the exact same time. :(

My wife's Xs shipped from Pennsylvania yesterday and has been sitting for several hours now in a New Jersey facility where it will apparently just sit until it is delivered Friday. Good times.

There's a good chance it's on UPS99 that's landing right now. Look out for an arrival scan in Alaska. If we don't get an update by tonight, i would definitely say that's bad news.

Same here also! I really hope ours is on that flight that has just landed in Anchorage, Alaska now.

Nice, thanks! Keeping my fingers crossed!!
There's a chance that the plane will just refuel and there wont be a scan until it lands in Kentucky, the 6 hour flight is scheduled to leave in 2 hours. So we might have to wait another 8+ hours to really see movement on the UPS tracking app
