Hello, I am using Sonoma 14.7.1 with a Logitech USB camera connected to a 3.0 hub, and it works perfectly. In fact, it also works on Sequoia without OCLP patches. However, once the patches are applied, it stops working. So, still no USB webcams on Sequoia. It's cruical for my job to have webcam, so no upgrade for now. Is there anyone with 14.7.1. that can confirm that USB webcam works? I am still on 14.7 because of that.
Same problem with RX580 and 15.1.1, visible ou Google homepage, lichess,...I'm running Sequoia and everything works great, except that there appears to be no anti-aliasing on certain types of graphics/shapes/text. For example:

Currently OCLP 2.1.2 and Sequoia 15.1.1, but it was like this on 15.0.1 and 15.1 and earlier OCLP versions. GPU is an RX 580.
Reverting root patches and then reapplying them again helps sometimes. Also a PRAM reset might help.My 5,1 can't turn on WIFI when I upgrade to 15.1.1, Bluetooth works fine.
The WIFI card is BCM94360CD.
Can anyone know why and how to repair it?
Thank you.
Nope, works fine. I've had zero stability issues, only the graphic artifact I mentioned earlier. Performance and usability are the same as they were under Monterey.I dunno why, but I'm perpetually confused by these reports of OCLP working on the 5,1 with Ventura/Sonoma/Sequoia, because I understood everything after Monterey to rely heavily on AVX2, which is not supported for the 5,1 or 6,1.
Are you guys just using Sequoia, with the expectation that it's going to be highly unstable on a 5,1?
How did the OCLP team get around the AVX2 requirements?Nope, works fine. I've had zero stability issues, only the graphic artifact I mentioned earlier. Performance and usability are the same as they were under Monterey.
According to their site:How did the OCLP team get around the AVX2 requirements?
Ahhhh OK. I use/need Navi GPU (5700XT) to interface with my Studio Display, so looks like I'm stuck with Monterey.According to their site:
Currently at this time, OpenCore Legacy Patcher only supports patching the AMD Polaris and Vega Graphics stack to no longer require AVX2.0. We're recently received an AMD RX 6600 donation, so hopefully in the future the project can support AMD Navi with pre-Haswell Macs. However, no time estimates can be given.
They patched it the best they could, but they did not get around AVX2 requirements. How did the OCLP team get around the AVX2 requirements?
Hello. Anyone have any updates on when/if the USB webcam will work again in future updates for Mac Pro 5,1 on Sequoia 15.2+?
Don't they really have a regular email or web form for reporting bugs?OCLP developers do not read posts here, report the issue/ask about on the OCLP Discord server.
The developers may not have the bandwidth, manpower to review hundreds, thousands of posts in forums, email messages or posts from various websites in different countries. Likely their plate is full. They’re testing, debugging 20+ Mac laptops, iMacs, Mac Minis, Mac Pros from various years and I think their work isn’t a walk in the park. If I would encounter tech problems, I would first try to find alternate ways, check other sources like the FB group and try out alternate fixes.Don't they really have a regular email or web form for reporting bugs?I supported them and paid a donation because I believe they are doing a great job, but I find it really strange that they use the gaming-chat platform to report bugs. I'm already so overflowed with various messengers that it's frustrating for me to register for yet another platform instead of sending one simple email.

Something that thinking back, is new to me: I've been applying OCLP root patches over and over, thinking that I'm getting a complete new set everytime.
Correct me if I'm wrong, reverting the root patches means that OCLP looks at the computer and hardware and then after "revert" the next "apply", downloads and or applies a complete new set for the hardware and software configuration.
