They are. A few somewhat hidden wall supports and a few poles in the middles as those are some heavy shelves.

HERE are several links to a few of mine. Mostly PPC or earlier.

Mostly in the loft so hopefully i'll get the list right as i can't be bothered climbing the ladder to go and check right now...

Apple IIe
Apple IIc
Macintosh 512K
Macintosh Plus
Macintosh SE (my first ever Mac!)
Macintosh IIci
Macintosh IIcx
Macintosh IIvx
Workgroup Server 60
LC
Powermac 7200
Bondi blue iMac

and my working Macs are a 2012 Macbook Pro and a new Mac mini

I did have a few more Macs (II, LCIII and a couple more) in the past but got rid due to space shortage

So it doesn't get out of hand I try to limit my collection to 1970s and early 1980s computers with graphics capability so no more text only terminals like the KayPro 10 and with a good sized software library including games so no Macs (had the Mac SE and hated it coming from Apple II). Only exceptions are the TRS-80s which have graphics add-on card and because it was one of my childhood memories in high school computer lab along with Apple IIs.

Apple II *oldest in my collection released in 1977
Apple II+
Apple IIe
Apple IIc
Apple IIc+
Apple IIgs ROM 1
Apple IIgs ROM 3

Radius 81/110 (licensed Mac 8100/110 compatible, $50 exception plus I could reuse ADB keyboard and mouse on IIgs)

Atari 600xl
Atari 800xl
Atari 1200xl
Atari TT030

ColecoVision + Adam Computer Module

Commodore SuperPET
Commodore Plus/4
Commodore 64
Commodore SX-64
Commodore 128
Commodore 128DCR
Commodore Amiga 3000

Compaq Portable (Intel 8088)

IBM 5155 Portable (Intel 8088)
IBM XT 5150 (Intel 8088)
IBM XT 5160 (Intel 8088)

Tandy TRS-80 Model 1 *another 1977 model recently added
Tandy TRS-80 Model 4P
Tandy TRS-80 Model 4D
Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer 3

Televideo Tele-PC

Anyone has a collection that is displayed and played with? I mean, smaller but full sets plugged and ready to be fired up? I am working on setting that in my small office and with an obviously smaller collection which includes at this time:

Desktops/compacts:

> Apple II GS with 5.25" and 3.5" floppy drives
> Mac 128 with additional external 3.5" floppy drive
> Mac 512ke with external HD20
> Mac SE dual floppy with external 80SC drive
> Mac LC *The only one not working due to damaged board (Battery exploded, so take good care of your collections)
> iMac G3 - Original Bondi Blue
> PowerMac G3 - Original Blue and White with matching CRT monitor
> iMac G4 - sunflower 17"
> PowerMac G4 cube with matching Cinema display
> iMac intel - (forgot the year, first aluminum one)

Looking to add:
- One of Apple II ,II+, IIc+ or IIe
- Mac SE/30
- Replacement CPU/Motherboard for the busted Mac LC
- Still deciding what else from that whole Mac II/Quadra/Performa (maybe 1 because those were the less appealing ones)
- PowerMac G4 Tower (White or Graphite to share KVM with cube)
- PowerMac G5 Tower (Aluminum with matching display)
- PowerMac Cylinder (to share KVM with G5 tower)

A couple of laptops (too lazy at this point to remember year/processor):
> PowerBook 180
> MacBook White Plastic (2013 I believe)
> MacBook Pro (Aluminum with screws exposed (2011 I believe)
> MacBook Air (2 or 3 from the family)
> MacBook Pro 15" Aluminum unibody (2016 maybe)

Looking to add:
- Macintosh Portable
- iBook G3 (any of the original colors but blue, to make it stand out from the blue iMac and PowerMac)

Also phones:
iPhone 2G
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4s
iPhone 5
iPhone 6s
iPhone 7 plus
iPhone 8 (This is the only dead-one)
iPhone X
iPhone 11

And some iPods and iPads. Still missing the original iPod, so that is the only one I would like to add, and maybe a newton. Al the ipads are very close to each other, so maybe add mini for now.

Macs (regular usage)
  • 2014 Mac mini (Intel, 4 GB memory, 512 GB SSD). This is my regular computer, I use it work (remote VDI), learning (Xcode & Swift), Emil, browsing. basic graphics, finances. At some point I will replace it with an Apple Silicon desktop (mini or maybe the rumored Mac Pro Mini).
  • 2020 MacBook Pro 13" (M1, 8 GB memory, 256 GB SSD). Web browsing, email, a little learning development (Xcode & Swift).
  • 2010 MacBook Pro 17" (Intel Core i5, 8 GB memory, 512 GB SSD). Bought it last year to tide me over until an AS MacBook came out that I liked. It has done that, but I still like it (nice form, 17" screen), so I am working on getting a patched Catalina installed and configured.
Macs (still have but don't use)
  • 2009 MacBook (Intel Core 2 Duo, 6 GB memory, 256 GB SSD). No real need to use since I have the 2010 & 202 MacBook Pros. Just like the 2010 MBP, though, I like the look and between my wife and me we got 8 years of regular use out of it.
  • 2005 Mac mini (PowerPC G4, 512 MB memory, don't recall HDD size). I got 11 years of use out of this, mostly basic use.
Macs (no longer have)
  • 2008 MacBook Pro 15" (don't remember specs). Regular use for 7-8 years. Got rid of it in a garage sale, but slightly regret. I could have replaced the HDD with an SSD and maxed out the memory at least (assuming that model could be upgraded), which would have given it more life. Oh well.
  • Mac Cube (don't remember specs or year). Bought it used because I thought it looked so cool, even though I knew the problems. Replaced it with the2005 Mac mini.
  • Mac iBook (don't remember specs or year, but it had the white polycarbonate shell). I had this at least as early as 2003 and replaced it with the 2008 MacBook Pro in 2008.
Macs (never used)
  1. Mac SE. Interior mostly gutted, I bought it for about $40 to have as a piece of computer "art" to place on top of a bookshelf.
Apple Watch
  • Apple Watch 6. First smart watch I ever owned, really liking it so far (purchased it at the beginning of this month)
iPods
  • 2 iPod nano 7th generation (part of a rotation I use to listen to music when running)
  • 1 iPod nano 5th generation (part of a rotation I use to listen to music when running)
  • 2 iPod nano 4th generation (part of a rotation I use to listen to music when running)
  • 1 iPod Mini (battery only holds about 1-2 hours charge, don't use much)
  • 1 iPod Classic 7th generation (use in my car, much better than a CD changer like used to have in prior cars)
iPhone
  • iPhone XR

iPads
  • iPad mini 5. I use it a lot for Zoom calls and to read digital magazines
  • iPad mini 2. Both my wife and I used it, but it finally died and she now has an iPad mini 4 and I have the iAd Mini 5 listed above.
Homepods
  • One for ice, one for me. Bought them as Christmas presents last year, liking them so far.
Miscellaneous Apple products
  • Airport and AirPort Extreme. No longer have them, but they worked really well.
  • Newton MessagePad. Forgot I had one, that was back in the late 90s.

So, not as much as the impressive collections that others have mentioned in this conversation, but I do love my Apple products. I also have some Windows and Linux computers, but rarely use them, and I did use Windows and Android phones before I bought the iPhone XR.

[Edit: Forgot about the iBook and Newton MessagePad I had]

And here are the MacBooks I still have, plus a Mac t-shirt I thought people might find amusing.

Anything you are still seaching for @Anonymous Freak and would like to have for your collection?

Basically only the things out of my price range. :p Not even counting the "ridiculously expensive" items, the ones I keep hunting for an unreasonably cheap one of are: Apple II (original, pre-Plus,) Lisa 2/Macintosh XL (Lisa 1's out of any serious consideration,) Apple III, TAM. Wouldn't mind a trash can Mac Pro, but that'll have to wait until they're "obsolete item cheap" - I'm just worried that they'll go from "old but still usable, so expensive" directly to "desired Apple vintage system expensive." A working Macintosh Portable. I had one long ago, but it stopped working and was out of my repair expertise, so I sold it to someone who had the time and ability. Haven't gotten a replacement, and now they're expensive.

Plus a few "probably cheap enough, I just haven't bothered to get one yet" - a ruby or sage iMac G3; I always loved those colors, and haven't found one locally. An iMac G5 - I've just been too lazy to pick one up locally that's been cheap enough. A first gen and a second gen iPod Touch.

No, my Apple collection is basically complete. The TAM is the only one that's a real "really want, and just at the edge of my price range" item. Apple III desire is mostly for curiosity's sake, it's not that good/impressive a machine. Same with Lisa. I never used an A3 or a Lisa when they were new, so I have no real nostalgia for them. A2s and the whole line of Macintoshes I do.
