Do orders ever arrive earlier than estimated? Not before the release date, of course, but if it's stated as later in September or October, is it possible that it could come sooner?

Please remind me… what do we use for the reference number when searching up the phone on ups? The order number or our phone number?

Mine has shipped!

Seems impressive but your product will likely sit with the actual carrier and not delivery until Friday. Apple has an agreement with the carriers to not delivery early.

Yep, exactly this ^ It’s a very strict agreement.

I work for one of the carriers. It’s the same every year; the phones arrive and sit with us for several days before getting delivered to the customer. Usually the tracking will still show China for the last few days even though the phones are sitting with us.

With UPS My Choice I'm able to have them hold package at local UPS customer service center (less than 3 miles from my home) and pick up anytime during their business hours on 9/16 rather than wait all day for UPS to deliver.

mine shipped too. Wondering if we can determine who is on which plane like last year (when the UPS plane in Korea fell over)...

Rarely but you do have people that tend to not follow directions. More than likely, you get your phone early, the employee gets reprimanded or canned as a result.
