I was thinking about upgrading to the 6s+, but iOS 9 is keeping me on my 6+. It runs better on iOS 9 and Safari is much more stable. Some folks with 6s devices are reporting lag, so I doubt 1gb of ram is the issue.really? 8.4.1 vs iOS 9 both on 6 plus?
I guess I attributed a lot to 1gb of ram, because I never tried iOS 9 on my plus I went straight to 6s plus and kept my plus on 8.4 even when i sold it.
It's either you upgrade or don't.
The thing is, as you already see, you'll get split opinions which ultimately won't really give you enough to decide if it's worthy or not for you going by that feedback. Trying it out yourself on another device that is the same is likely the closest you'll come to having a better idea (although even that won't tell you for sure how well it will work on your device specially). Thanks for stating the reason I created this thread.
If signing window wasn't closed, I wouldn't care and would try it. Unfortunately once you take the leap, no returning. I kinda wish I kept my mini2 on 7.1.2 in some respects
The thing is we all at some point need to be current. If I had a choice I would like to go back 3.2.2.Thanks for stating the reason I created this thread.

9.0.2 works ok on my Air2, but have issues with blank pages in app switcher as well as some blank apps while doing updates. Sometimes I also have partial blank pages while reading articles in Safari. For those reasons alone I would hold off until at least the next version update.Dang this poll being almost evenly split is making it tough.
I think I should extensively play w an air2 at an Apple Store or something on 9.0.2
Fwiw 9.1 beta isn't on the table. I need jailbreak.

there's a bit of lag, but it's still a responsive device, overall, and the new features are worth it, in my opinion.Oh man bit of lag is not what I wanted to hear. Aargh
well...? how is it so far?taking the leap, hope i enjoy it

Nice generalisation pal. They are either happy with it or try to ignore it and deal with it because there is lag on my buddy's iPhone 6 and he said that small lag doesn't bother himYou are on Macrumors, that's what you get.
There are literally millions of people happy with iOS 9, but the same people keep saying it's a "mess" again and again...
With iOS 9.0.2 you will objectively will gain:
- new features
- security fixes
- content blockers: that will fasten web browsing, and reduce tab reloading way more than anything software update can do
Poor guy.....
For those who believe iOS 9 is fast on Air 2 take a look at this video.
As you can see it isn't working on my fresh install iPad Air 2 so generalising that Air 2 is working fine is wrongI just did exactly what you did on my Air 2 and it launched on the first tap.
Generalizing that the Air 2 isn't working fine is also wrong. As you can see it isn't working on my fresh install iPad Air 2 so generalising that Air 2 is working fine is wrong
