Yeah this is probably the cheapest mouse I have owned at only 129.99. It is a Cyborg R.A.T. 9 Gaming Mouse btw.

Not as good as the Revolution MX, which this one replaced.

The Revolution has/had some nice features this one doesn't. A couple extra buttons (all of which I use, ergo, I now find it highly inconvenient to use a mouse w anything less than the 12 or 13 buttons I'm used to :D).

No longer manufactured, and the left click is dying, but ah well. My mouse is this sweet baby:

...does the Performance MX have a free-spinning scroll wheel? That's one of the best features of this one
I didn't like the revolution as the side scroll wheel like button always came in the way for me.
With this Performance MX, the only thing it is really missing is that side scroll like button.
Still has the free mouse wheel/clutch, has the back/forward, has a "squeeze" thumb button (which I use for expose), has another button just below the back/forward that I use for showing desktop..
It is a pretty decent mouse :)

Yeah, I have the MX Revolution at home on my Mini, and I have the Performance MX at work. I like the Performance, since I never really used that side scroll wheel on the Revolution. I prefer the extra button on the Performance. I still like both of them, though.

Oh yeah, I have the Logitech M500 on my gaming PC. Yeah, I like Logitech.

I have this Dell bluetooth travel mouse that I use with my laptop when traveling. It's small but not too tiny, and it has the extra buttons on it that most "travel mice" don't have. I got it at Dell for somewhere around $12 at one of their one day sales.

It seems like Logitech is the brand to go for :) Personally, I just use the built-in trackpad on my laptop although it would be nice to have an external mouse just from an ergonomics point of view.

And another user here! Hands down the best mouse I have ever used/will ever use.

Logitech also has AMAZING warranty. They really stand by their products.
They will replace any mouse that is still under warranty even if you lose the receipt.
For items that are out of warranty they will let you buy a replacement product for a discounted cost.

Currently using the Logitech M510 Mouse. (Hopefully) getting a Logitech Performance MX for Christmas.

How did you get this to work with a Mac? I thought it was Windows only? And is it comfortable to use? I love the idea of it being so adjustable, but it looks kind of painful to hold!

Thanks!

I have the Logitech Anywhere MX - easily the best mouse I've owned. The precision is wonderful. I'm ambidextrous, and so needed a mouse I could use left-handed as well as right. The Performance MX is undoubtedly a great mouse, but will, of course, only suit those wacky right-handers...

I got this thinking I would have time to play SC2 but it is still a nice mouse. I needed something that would be responsive while using my MBP as a desktop, and portable without having to plug in a dongle.

I got it working great on the mac side using a program called USBoverdrive.

You probably need to disable buttons 9, 10, and 11 - it wasn't moving before I did that. Those buttons are the "mode toggle", which cycles through 3 modes. Disabling that let me move the mouse.

It's actually really comfortable! That being said, I had the rat 5 and felt i needed a higher profile palm rest, so I returned it and got the 7. The 9 is the same as the 7 except wireless.

I love it though, usboverdrive works great. Got the side wheel as vol up/down, the thumb buttons as mute, expose app, and expose desktop. DPI adjustment button works great too! I jack it down all the way in photoshop when I want to do fine brush work.
