Bought this last month:
Logitech-Performance-Mouse-M950-mouse.jpg

My Revolution finally died. :( :( :( I miss the thumbwheel. Apparently I was one of like two people that actually used it. But, this one has some features I like, such as the replaceable battery and USB charging. Side jog on the scroll wheel isn't as nice, but ah well..

As usual, Microsoft IntelliMouse optical with custom paint job and custom cabling.
Why? Because Microsoft is the only company that has mice drivers that fully override the HORRIBLE mouse acceleration of OS X.

Does it transform into a car?

looks like it would eh!
you can adjust a lot of parts on it - thumb rest moves forwards or backwards and the angle is adjustable. there are 3 different palm rests which can also move forward or backwards, and 3 different pinky rests. there is optional weights is you want a heavier mouse

its more comfortable than it looks :)

I use a Razer Imperator for playing games but I prefer the magic trackpad for day to day computer use.

Microsoft Sidewinder x8 for my gaming PC.

Magic Mouse that came with my new iMac.

One thing that I was very aware of before I bought my wireless mouse: it had to be Bluetooth and connect to the BT receiver in my Mac directly. Not a mouse with a USB-receiver that would occupy a port and eventually be lost in the end.

I use the Performance after my Revolution died out on me, and its by far the best mouse I have ever used. The only downside is the USB receiver you need for it, like torb said. Hope that Logitech decides to make the upgrade to the Performance bluetooth.

Those hockey puck mice look terribly terribly uncomfortable.

I use the Microsoft Wireless 2000... say what you want about Microsoft, but they definitely know how to make good priced, reliable mice.

I have the Revolution one too, but its currently in the closet. I always had issues with the top wheel when I tried to switch it from smooth to click scrolling. I think both are great, and while I like the wheel on the side of the Revo, Im very happy with the Perfomance.

You should try installing "SteerMouse" you can buy the software or find it fo free if you look in oceans or BAYS, anyhow, there is a small kinda hard set up for the click wheel not to keep switching when you do a middle click.

You can click on the tips button and it tells you how to enter something on terminal and you won't have that problem again.

Heres my Razer Diamondback. I bought it a couple years ago, and I must say its been a real pain in the arse to explain my parents a ~50$ mouse is much better and more durable than those cheap market mouses. It might sound stupid, but its truth, it was a real bite for my budget. Why did I buy it? Cos Ive been playing Counter-Strike 1.6 a lot in the past, and this sounded like the best choice. My cable somehow broke inside of the mouse, so I opened it, repaired the cable with only a sellotape (!), and its been doing its job ever since. Not to mention LOTS of slightly harder contacts with the desk, Im kind of an impulsive person, y'know ;p And Ive got to admit the diode is a little bit too bright, I have to cover the mouse during movie evenings as the drivers somehow wont let you turn it off, like in Deathadder.

Trusty old Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000

I have to admit, I do like Microsoft mice, they're by far the most comfortable I've used and have had loads in the past.

This one has a white bit where my finger and palm touch it. It'll be 4 years old in August (I bought it when we moved into our new office)

i had the MX revolution for a couple days and i loved it but i started to hear the high pitched frequency hissing while using the mouse and it got really annoying so i returned it... im holding out on a new mouse similar to it to come out because wired isnt really working out for me right now lol

Logitech MX1000

Wow had this since 04, but it does what I need it to and never gives probs so I'll stick with it.
