I like the look of the white band. But I think your comments sums up my thoughts about the watch as well...I love accessories, but can't see the point of the Apple watch (other than having the latest gadget and getting your co-workers a little envious).
Is that really different from any other watch though? Watches haven't been necessary or essential for years.
Waiting For 42
Just happened to breeze into Best Buy today. Asked the in-store Apple guy which one he's getting, and he said definitely the 42 as he felt the little extra screen size makes a difference.
Came back home, made my decision and ordered it. Unfortunately, now it says July shipping.
Waiting is the hardest part.
btw, received an email the new Microsoft Surface 3 shipped today. Hope to have it by Tuesday.

Damn nice. Those are almost exactly my measurements.
The 42MM is nowhere near oversized. After seeing so many misleading pictures and guys who bought the 38MM badmouth it, I was shocked to see it in person. It's tasteful and pretty average.
I think anyone can pull off either size respectfully unless they are very above, or very below average. The whole "men's" or "women's" watch argument needs to chill out

Approximately 170mm (hairy) wrists.
Just got it this evening! I was pleasantly surprised with the fit. A lot of the pictures seem to make the watch look bigger than it is. The picture makes it look huge on my wrist, but it actually looks perfect in my opinion.
Much better in person. Seriously, pictures don't do it justice.
The whole unboxing and set up experience was awesome.
Only had it a few hours and loving it.
Incidentally, I have no idea why the image is rotated (like some others).

Just ordered mine today from AUS. How did you get a hold of one? Do we have any idea when they are officially going to be available in NZ?
