My 38mm SS ML arrived yesterday and I love it! I placed the order on April 29, prepared to ship on Sunday, and got it one day later.

My wrists are 165mm so the 38mm is a perfect fit for me (didn't want the smartwatch look). The ML is very comfortable, barely notice it's there. Now I just need to order a black sport band for the gym.

Looks great! But, somebody's sure to bash you for getting a 38! Lol
Looks perfect on you, and if you said it was a 42 nobody would know!

Looks really good. The ss models are so beautiful!! (I have a sport 38mm)

Just got the thin fit today. Will be using for gym/active stuff and work. Hope it will protect the SS a bit...

That looks great! Changes it up a bit. That's why I ordered one too. I ordered the rugged case, hope it's not too overpowering, I like the slimness of yours.

I love how there are so many posts from people saying they got the 38mm version because they don't want the "smart watch look". Like it's a totally different design than the 42mm. An Apple Watch looks like an Apple Watch. Everyone is going to know it's a "smart watch" no matter the size. :D

I do understand not wanting a watch that overpowers your wrist though. Jewelry and accessories should look proportionate. Why can't everyone just say that?! "I got the XX size because I think it looks more proportionate on my wrist". My 42mm looks proportionate IMO on my 180mm (65mm top) wrist. When I tried the 38mm both the Apple assistant and my wife said it looked like I was wearing a kids watch.

The problem I have with the 38mm modell is, that regardless on which wrist you see it, you see a small watch like a watch for kids and females.
You only can see this live and not on pictures.
Maybe a man can wear the 38mm who really has small wrists like 140-155mm but anyone else it will look very wrong live.
We can be happy that the 42mm is a small watch too.
In comparsion to all other smartwatches the 42mm is tiny.

I get it. I got over the initial omg it's so small after I tried them both on. The 42 took up most of my wrist. I didn't like it. Seems everyone hates the 38 because it's small. But who says everybody likes big watches.

The funny thing is, that I never was a watch fan. I hated watches because of my small wrists and the feeling of a watch on my hand. Only the pebble steel got me to wear a watch every day.

Pretty much same here. I used to wear a cheap digital watch back in the day. But haven't for well over 10 years. This watch is pretty amazing though! I never thought I would be wearing a watch again.

dito. when I was in the apple store and they displayed the apple watch and I thought "bummer that they only have the 38mm version for trying the software.... Until I realized it was actually already the 42mm version. I was shocked how tiny the 38mm is.

Thats what I thought. I asked an employee if they have the larger model on display.....he said, that is the larger model......I can definitely see them making a 45 or 48 mm model in the next couple revisions. the 38mm looks like a toy.

Thank you! I think so as well :) I believe it looks just right on me. Not too big. But that's just me.

I'm surprised you've seen so many people LIVE with a 38mm watch on that you can claim this, oh, unless, do you work at an Apple Store?
