I have a pretty basic setup where I can still network into my cMP.

So far, I still refuse to give up my 30-inch Apple Cinema Display and Bose Soundsystem, which I purchased in March 2008! I'm using an OWC Thunderbolt port for the display, and it works well.
I like that, what stand is your Mac Studio on there? And what RAID storage box is that next to it?

Ahh the usb hub.. I’ve not got one but have heard people got it working that way and again some people it’s not. Which hub do you use?

i Was going to buy new speakers but found it impossible to find any reviews on a decent set and I think our Bose ones still sound fantastic
I have this USB hub connected to the Mac Studio via USB A.

EDIT: I noticed they raised the price..I paid $26 for it.

The charging ports are handy too:

The stand is the Spigen one:

Although the Thunder3 Quad X Thunderbolt 3 case has since been discontinued, I still see them on eBay. I originally bought one because it looked like a cMP...it has worked well without any glitches:

Thanks so much for this. They really suit the Studio, I'll have to definitely get the stand and look into the storage case for when I get my Studio.

I also decided to order this Spigen stand after seeing your post here - I like it.

It also like that the stand is non-slip and it makes the Studio Mac less likely to move around on my desktop when I remove or attach anything to one of the ports.

I got a similar stand from Etsy.

The Case is the NZXT H9 Flow , and specs are i9 14900k , AMD Radeon 7900XTX , 32GB DDR4 4600 , the fans are lian li uni fans LCD , 😀
In the end, were destined to have a working PC the Studio, and a windows gaming pc. Why I keep the Mac because of the ecosystem ( Mac Studio, iPad, Apple Watch, iPhone, laptop ). If the Mac ecosystem did not exist, I would be driving solely a Windows machine.

Not exactly on topic, but I just wanted to say that I continue to love my M1M base Studio. The thing just works. All the rear ports are filled, it's driving three monitors (why I bought it) and it's never made a peep. The Studio is the most underrated Apple product in the line-up.

I agree. Love my M2Ultra base model. Does absolutely everything I throw at it; my workflows in FCP, Logic Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, Ableton and astronomy applications do not make it break a sweat - indeed, I think I wasted money going for the Ultra and over specced and a M2Max would have been as good for my purposes. All in a small package with low power consumption. I leave it switched on 24x7.

Yesterday I got the M3 Ultra to replace my MacBookPro as heavy duty machine... I decided to make a clean install...
This thing is a beast!! And the best of all, no noise from the fans compared to the MacBookPro :)

I still have to do some cable work to do... I will wait till the weekend, to be sure that everything is working as expected....

I did struggle with the decision of Ultra or Max... But as I use a lot of virtualization, I decided to go for the Ultra because the higher amount of cores and memory.

Very nice! I wonder how the M3 Ultra does with Topaz Video Enhance... Do you have that app?
