Do you think people buy books at Walmart? No way. Many buy them online.

There’s a pandemic out there, hence a lot of stuff is sold online. Photo prints and photo print books are most certainly online centric as you’d need an upload interface and in the case of photo print books a basic layout client to set them up.

Costco photo Centers are being removed from plenty retail locations for the same reasons, it’s a declining business that doesn’t need a store locally to operate.

I was talking about reading books.

Because I want too. No good reason except for using HDMI to play media on my big tv.

If your TV is a smart TV then you are likely able to screen cast straight to it from your iPhone. If I remember correctly, you have an Apple TV box is that right? If so then you can airplay to the Apple TV from the phone meaning you don’t need to use physical cards - just a thought.

I know this but thanks anyways. For photos on iPhone I use my appleTV photos app to view them. For photos and videos on my canons I use HDMI cables. Note I backup everything on my Sd cards to my Mac and that is backed up as well so I can store my media on my SD cards.

I did not want a smart TV since I have a appleTV but it’s so difficult to find a non smart tv these days I had no choice in the matter.

Hmm, SD cards are not reliable enough to be used for long term data archival - or photos stored as data. They are also too fragile. You need a better archiving plan than that.
As mentioned before I backup everything to Mac and the Mac is also backed up to a USB backup drive.

That is your preference. I use the AppleTV app on our TVs now instead of having to plug in physical ATV boxes.
The ATV box can do far more than just an app on a smart TV. For example you can download apps, and use apps like podcast, music, photos, and the like. All my iPhone media I can view on my big TV.
