Got my MBP back... running a load (iTunes visualizer) seems to have stabilized at around 70º.

Edit: safari open @ the same time... 76º

Edit 2: sounds like the fans came on @ 77º... as opposed to 82º prior to the repair.

Edit 3: Seems stable around 75º mark. Im going to try the SMC update next.

Edit 4: SMC updated. Apeture, safari, and iTunes running for the last hour and it is hovering around 66º. Soo, looks like they fixed it!

Great! Is there any explanation as to what they did to fix it? I know we all expect they fixed the thermal paste but it would be nice to see that in a note from Apple.

They probably have 'laptop' in their meta tags.
