5.4" 12 and 6.1" 12 Plus will be the same curved frames we see now on SE, 11 etc but the selling feature will be OLED, faster, improved dual lens camera and more colours.

6.1" 12 Pro and 6.7" 12 Pro Max will have complete new designs as selling feature and improved OLED, improved cameras and LIDAR, pro motion, smaller bezels and new Navy colour.

The pros clearly need something to make them worth the extra cash over the cheaper 12 models now that all models are OLED, extra telephoto lens isn't enough and LIDAR will be a gimmick for a while.

Last year they could promote the fact the Pro's had OLED, triple lens and stainless steel as "Pro" features but that won't cut it again because the average joe doesn't care if its steel frame or a telephoto lens if they get OLED as well this year then that's great value in their eyes.

I'll be getting the 6.1" 12 Pro but I really hope they give fast chargers to all models because the 5w charger in 2020 is a disgrace, I also hope the selfie camera is much improved like the rear has been.

Do we believe the 11 line up will be removed from sale when 12 releases? I'm thinking yes because they would want people dropping to the SE.

My payments for my note 9 finishes November. It's only £15 per month but was toying with the idea of getting the 11 on finance through apple. I'm going to guess though the 12 model will be a similar price and not worth me getting the 11? I've been out of the iphone game for a few years forgive me!

You’re definitely mistaken the intent of the iPhone SE. Consumers that already own the iPhone 11 or above are not going to consider the iPhone SE [Which means iPhone 11 owners would have to downgrade to a smaller display/smaller battery]. The iPhone SE is more geared towards iPhone 6/6S/7 owners, being it shares a similar form factor/Touch ID and it has the price point. Not to mention, the iPhone SE is a global phone, meaning it’s meant to saturate other emerging markets.

I concur...

iphone 12
iphone 12 plus
iphone 12 pro
iphone 12 pro max

Sounds good to me

mmm not sure, iPhone 11 is 6.1” and iPhone 12 5.4” ? I think that makes more sense to the 12 to be the 6.1” version. I guess that they will have a different name for the small one. iPhone 12R or whatever.

When you have problems to get the products properly named (like Apple has lately) means that there are too many models and versions...

If the iPhone 12 Pros do get the redesign reminiscent to the iPhone 4/5 with the flat edges, they may end up easier to hold in your hands and pick up than the rounded iPhone 12s
