It is obvious people love big phones. I don't but obviously I am a minority. If I can't easily put the phone in my front pocket I am not interested. I understand if the phone is the only device one has that it has to serve as a movie screen, laptop, desk top and phone. This is often the case in the second and third world countries but I think it is perhaps the case in North America and Europe and parts of Asia with younger users. I could be wrong. Comments would be welcome.

I’ve been doing the big size since the 7+ and haven’t had any issues fitting the bigger phones into my front pocket, then again I don’t wear skin tight skinny jeans either

I did order the smaller size pro this time to try out to see if I get less thumb fatigue moving around the screen, since they upped the screen size from 5.8 to 6.1 on the 12/13 it seemed less tiny to me when playing around with it at the store than my wife’s 11 pro so it’s worth the 14 day test drive for me to see if not having the bigger model works for me.

Another dumb 1st world problem that persuaded me was that more cars are adding wireless charging and the bigger phones don’t seem to fit. I rent a lot for work and this a feature I like to use with wireless CarPlay. I might also want my next car to have wireless charging.

It would be awesome if they made a pro model with a 6.3 screen, I think that would be a great sweet spot to get the best of both worlds and with going essentially edge to edge screens, the footprint of the phone wouldn’t be much larger than the current non-max size.

My original plan after the keynote was 128GB Pro Max in Sierra Blue. And I did indeed order a 128GB Pro Max in Sierra Blue. Proud of myself for not second guessing that decision. Having a 12 Pro Max the upgrade isn't really NECESSARY but with Apple offering a near 75% trade-in value for my 128GB Max I couldn't resist.

Very excited for my 13 Pro 128 Sierra Blue ☺️

Upgrading from the 11 Pro Max. It’s an amazing phone, but I just found the size of it to be too big to be comfortable as a daily phone, and the size has always been more inconvenient than beneficial.

This was gonna be the year I downsized to the Pro, but when it came time to order, I just couldn't do it. I went with a 13 Pro Max 256GB in Sierra Blue and I couldn't be more excited!

Polls are always great, now that the iPhones officially went on sale today, what did most end up buying? If you changed your mind, please share here! Feel free to elaborate on color choice also.
iPhone 13 128GB when it's available in my country. There's a lot of whining about how it's not that big of an upgrade. If you're coming from a 12 then sure, but I have a 7 and I reckon the 13 will be an amazing upgrade.

Silver 13 Pro Max, 512GB & golden brown leather case. Sierra Blue might have cool ? factor but is pointless in a case.

11 (non-pro) 128GB > 13-mini 128GB. I’m a guy and want to try a smaller phone…something that can easily fit in my pocket with minimal added bulk/weight. Plus, the iPhone is not my primary device for videos and internet (That’s the IPP’s job). I’m gonna give the mini a try and see how it works out. If I just don’t like the size after using it for a week, will return it and go for the Pro 128GB. But, I have a feeling it’s gonna work out just fine with the mini. That’s the plan.

No surprise, lots of high end users here! Only about 10% thus far have bought the 13/13 mini combined. I’m one of those. I ordered the 13 with 256 in Pink. More memory than I envision using, but I tend to keep devices for years.

I agree. After lugging around a Galaxy Note 9 for 3 years, I look forward to downsizing (13 mini). Big phones are not for me but to each its own.
