I was set on the Pro up until yesterday where I switched my pre-preorder to the PM.

My wife is going to have the mini to replace her SE (2).

what I REALLY wanted was the PINK phone! ??. what I couldn't come to terms with was the smaller size and the camera.... I love the better cameras on the pro models....

You not the only one who wanted the pink phone. Had it been on the Pro line, It would have been an instant buy for me. I’m just to use to the bigger size to downgrade. I really hope they expand the colors of the pro line in the future.

I went with the pink. Starlight intrigued me, but I wanted something a little different plus I wanted to ensure a launch day release and I figured I’d be more likely to get that with pink (I couldn’t do a pre preorder while using military discount). Since I am ready for a Mini upgrade, I did Starlight with that.

This is something I've had an issue with, the regular iPhone's get all these cool colors, like (PRODUCT) RED, yet the new higher end models never get it, I love the color Red, I have the Apple Watch Series 6 in PRODUCT RED, so I've been dying for a PRODUCT RED iPhone Pro Max, but I doubt they'll ever release one. And I'm also use to the bigger size iPhone's, I can't do the Mini, way way too small for my eyes, and with the Pro Motion, and 1TB I had to go Silver 1TB PM, but maybe in 3yrs when I upgrade again, they'll have a Red iPhone Pro Max 2TB Lol.

I am trading in my iPhone 11 Pro 256gb Midnight Green and getting the iPhone 13 Mini 256gb Midnight.

I might miss a couple Pro features, but I have been wanting a smaller phone and want to lock this in while I can.

11 (non-pro) 128GB > 13-mini 128GB. I’m a guy and want to try a smaller phone…something that can easily fit in my pocket with minimal added bulk/weight. Plus, the iPhone is not my primary device for videos and internet (That’s the IPP’s job). I’m gonna give the mini a try and see how it works out. If I just don’t like the size after using it for a week, will return it and go for the Pro 128GB. But, I have a feeling it’s gonna work out just fine with the mini. That’s the plan.

Definitely interested to hear your experience! If I was in a little bit better financial spot, I would've gone iPad mini and iPhone mini (from an 11 Pro Max).

Silver Pro 256GB, previously had an iPhone 12 mini 128GB. Liked the smaller size but the terrible battery life and lack of telephoto lens didn't make it worth it to go with the iPhone 13 mini. Didn't need the extra 128GB but with the limitation of ProRes on the lower storage option I decided to increase that as well.

I must say, for me it's all about design. That's why I instantly fall in love with "Sierra Blue"
Although I welcome the new features but it's not that important to me.

13 Pro Max Sierra Blue 512GB

I’m not certain I want this big of a screen and the regular 13 Pro is still larger than my X, so if I don’t like the size I will exchange for the smaller phone. My 6.5” Android gave me a comparison to help make my purchase decision.

I have 256GB in my X and I’ve only used about 80GB, but I decided to go ahead and upgrade to a higher storage as I want to try out ProRes and if things work out, I’ll be using a lot more space for videos. Being on the installment plan meant there was ~$5 difference per month and I feel, in my case, that’s worth the storage safety net.
