Blizzard would probably do well to update it with new graphics and surround sound, etc. etc. -- maybe add some new "bonus content" (like new levels) and re-release it. If it was priced right, I think it'd sell VERY well.

Pretty sure this is called Diablo 3

Off topic, I know, but companies should release the source code of their old games, that way the community (if there is one) can keep the game up-to-date, as well as fix any bugs that they missed. My personal opinion, though.

On topic, you can always boot Snow Leopard or get an old PowerPC Mac to play your old games.

I installed Lion today on my and the wife's computers. Something inside me died when it said it can't run Starcraft 1 anymore. Sure there's Starcraft 2 which I love, but Starcraft 1 is my childhood incarnate, and it already runs like crap on my Windows 7 machine. It's stretched to widescreen (which is just terrible) and Micorosoft made it so the directdraw is all jacked up. Warcraft 3 doesn't work either even though it's supposed to. I've updated it about a year ago to the most recent patch and they implemented universal binary back in 2007 so I'm not sure it will work since it doesn't already.

Then my wife starts griping that they removed Front Row, basically the only thing she ever enjoyed about her computer besides Facebook. I'm not sure what the point of the remote is now.

And what "features" do you get for $130? I can now invert my 2 finger scroll (no thank you), and... I haven't found anything else besides moving a few menus around. Normally I like to have the latest and greatest, but I'm seriously wondering if I shouldn't go back to 10.6.8.

Starcraft 1 works just fine on Windows 7. You just need to set it to maintain aspect ratio. I plan on just playing SC1/D2 on bootcamp. No big loss.

Have you tried reinstalling the game? You can get an intel-compatible installer at battle.net.

I downloaded the game clients from battle.net but they say that they are PPC apps. Where can I get universal game client?
