Personally the 360 looks better to me but less features whereas the Watch is pretty much too expensive.

$50 cheaper than originally suspected.....at $349, not too bad IMO.
Only thing I'm disappointed with is the lack of GPS (or so it seems). Makes it so when you run, you have to have your iPhone. Now, how close is another question....
Still a lot of mystery around the Apple Watch.
All-in-all, I'm an Apple guy, so Apple Watch it is. I'd like to see them in person....I suspect the pictures and video don't really do it justice. It's looks pretty small on people's wrists - and I put more importance in bulk versus whether or not the face is round.
If I can, I'll check both out.....but I'm leaning toward moving away from Android 90% of the time. With the larger displays and iOS 8 hitting my key iOS pain points, I have no reason other than curiosity and tech interest to stick with another platform.
And ultimately, I'm the customer Apple is targeting here. Someone who is invested and likes being in the Apple ecosystem. The Apple Watch is a great addition to that ecosystem.
No contest what-so-ever. The iWatch will sell to the niche hardcore Apple crowd and few others. It is ugly as sin, looks like a gear watch replica, just shinier and the spin knob to navigate? Seriously?
This is a failed product in the making. Too expensive and to ugly.
They put a lot of functionality into the apple watch. A lot of it seems too tedious for a watch. Drawing text, using the calendar, viewing photos. Personally I think a smart watch is better as a notification extension. Eg: pebble and android wear.
I don't see myself looking at maps on a watch screen. Siri cannot compete with google now so I will stick to voice commands on android wear.

I actually think it looks quite nice. Really digging the black steel one....
It's thinner and less bulky than the Moto360. That's a big plus in my mind - the bulk coupled with the black half circle (and the fact that I won't use Android most of the time) make the Apple Watch the choice.
I don't see this selling to the "niche hardcore" Apple crowd. I see it selling to the ENTIRE Apple crowd - minus the teenie boppers who are increasingly moving to Android anyhow.
I thought the same regarding some of the functionality--walking navigation is great but wouldn't what to browse maps, looking at photos is pointless on your watch, especially if you have your phone with you. Regarding serving as a notification extension--isn't it doing all of that as well?
Reserve judgement for hands on. A watch has to look good on my wrist and be comfortable. Once it does that I'll consider buying it, and I'll wear it if it's useful... I suspect v2 will be considerably better so I suggest no one buy the gold one....

It won't even be close...Regarding looks, that's really a matter of preference. I generally prefer a round watch but don't hate this--best looking square design so far, IMO. Certainly didn't knock it out of the park but not a terrible first effort.
And sorry but I completely disagree regarding the dial. I think it's an excellent complement for navigating around a tiny touch screen. Everyone around here bitches and moans about Apple's lack of innovation but I think Apple has surpassed anything available so far--the navigation dial and pressure sensitive face being two great examples.
It really isn't.
Up close I love the aWatch. I think the design is great. Zoom out, and like everyone I hate the shape, despite its practicality. It certainly didn't help that the UI and watch faces they featured seemed to better fit a circular design.
Yeah, aesthetically I find a round watch more attractive but let's face it, watches are generally round because that is the common shape of analog clocks and until now, telling time was the sole function of most watches. From a functional standpoint, a square shape makes more sense--one of the few criticisms of using the Moto 360 is text being cut off because of the round display. All that being said, i still find round more appealing.
I'm certainly going to wait to learn more about it before deciding if I'm going to get one.

I wonder if that means a round one is on the way? I love the round display on my Moto 360, and an aWatch with a round display would be great.
Kid toys aren't $350.
Moto 360 cannot do iOS, is more fashionable unless one steps up higher in the aWatch arena, and costs less.
Edition Collection looks nice, esp with the plating and when the crowns and bands match. Wondering what the price on those are. People are comparing to the Samsung's but I think the Apple Watch design looks premium at the higher end and has value beyond just tech features.

Is it thinner? I didn't see the specs announced, but I saw this... my eyes are burned forever. Personally I see the opposite, this will sell well to the teenie bopper crowd that wants to send smilie faces to another iwatch. The moto360 is a work of art, I'm not saying it's the end all, android wear is kind of crappy and the Moto uses a very crappy processor, but it sure as heck looks nice.

This and that the housing is probably wasting room b/c the components probably fit way better in a rectangular shape. Even The Verge commented on how surprisingly smaller and/or thinner it is compared to the 360.

I would probably, honestly buy this if aPayments worked w/o TouchID. I still have yet to read those details. But I sunk $50 into Coin, actually only $5 considering the credits I received from some super gullible people. And Apple officially retired onlycoin.com today!
