<------ This guy not a happy apple >:{

this ^

and I know someone will probably flame me for being disappointed because "it's not ready for release yet it's still buggy laggy blah blah blah"... but I want Lion now :( biggy or not. I can live with a buggy Lion for a few weeks until 10.7.1 is released!

hey hey.... we should be positive! maybe they just forgot they had 2 release it today at 9am lol...

I honestly could careless when they release lion,
Im just waiting for the MBA refresh, and hey if I have to temporarily have Lion GM, then what the heck.

Lol we are so sad sitting here refreshing the Appstore for ages :p But that's what Apple does to you, they make such awesome software :)

My guess is apple will give the devs at least 2 weeks to get their apps ready.

I'm not sure. With iOS's App Store the only way to get apps, a grace period makes sense. Also, Apple usually announces a date by which apps need to be submitted for launch approval.

The Mac App Store still has a fairly low implementation rate and I haven't really heard to too many big apps being totally broken under Lion (excluding, of course, those that still need Rosetta).

I still think it'll be next week to give the GM a week for review and them to do whatever they need on the back-end.

I can understand the excitement and everything, I'm the same, but if you take a step back and think about it, is it really THAT exciting? Sure, it'll be great once it's out, but it's not going to change what you do much, you're still going to play games, browse the web, chat to friends etc the same way as you do now, just with a slightly different look and maybe different functionality. But really, it's nothing to get ridiculously excited over, or annoyed at it not releasing. At least, not until you're actually downloading it :p

While the servers get slammed during download :p making you wait longer

You give me hope :) Holding breath again... one... two... three... * mass intake of air*

Please! No one needs to die over this. lol :D

Anyway I can't think of a time when apple released a product bright and early in the morning. I remember people having to wait forever to get ios 4. But if they do release it today it will be in the next hour I would guess.
