I just received a green Paragon leather band from Instinction (https://instinction.com/shop/green-paragon-leather-band-apple-watch-band/). Really like the way it looks with the SGS, and I've gotten a lot of compliments. The olive color goes nicely with a lot of things. Great customer service from Instinction, too. Might add a dark brown/coffee color down the road. $50 plus shipping, totaled less than $60 with tax. Very happy with this Christmas gift from my wife!

Just got a brown leather loop from cex. Hadn't see the brown leather loop in person and only pictures and it looked nice in photos but I'm not 100% now I've got it.

Thought it was more khaki in pictures but looks more like something you'd find in a toilet in real life:(

I purchased the 42mm Moko Strap in Midnight Blue. Its extremely close to an OEM Apple strap, perfect replacement for someone not wanting to spend the full price on a real one. I haven't had a chance to personally test this long term, but it appears I received a perfectly working band with no defects. I would definitely recommend this band to someone not looking to spend the $49 for a real fluoroelastomer one. I think for its retail price and level of quality, its a perfect substitute. Things to note or consider:

1.) There is an obvious texture difference between the Apple brand fluoroelastomer band and these which are silicone. The Moko silicone band tends to be a dust magnet due to this.

2.) There is some leftover mold flashing on the edges of the band. Barely noticeable by itself, but when held side by side with an OEM Apple strap, its definitely there.

3.) It seems to be a true 1:1 replica of the Apple band. The dimensions and sizes all appear to be exact when compared to the OEM band.

4.) Depending how you insert the band, there is an extremely small amount of the band that protrudes from the side of the watch where it snaps in. Its not perfectly flush like the OEM band is. This isn't a deal breaker, as most aftermarket bands and adapters have this issue. Make sure you insert the band properly to ensure it sits almost perfectly flush.

5.) Some people have noted these bands are thinner that the OEM Apple bands. I haven't measured it with a caliper, but it appears to be the same thickness. I think the material its made from gives it a thinner feel than it really is.

I finally found a third party "leather" band I liked. I'm using this Mifa black leather buckle from Amazon combined with these Clockwork Synergy space grey adapters.

My opinion? It's nice, soft, a little thin, but comfy. The buckle is a tad annoying because it will scrape against a desk or a MacBook chassis as you type, but this is an issue with any buckle band. I will still use my Black Sport band most of the time, but now have this for dresser occasions, not so much desk work. The band is about 1-1.5mm too narrow for the Clockwork Synergy adapter which I thought meant the watch would slide, but after a good amount of use I've never noticed that at al, but you could wedge something in it if it really bugged you.

I'm happy with it for $24 +$15 adapters. It's not a nice as Apple's of course, but works.

Yeah, looking at that band reminds me exactly why I won't buy a non-Apple sport band. There is lint or dust all over it already and I'm assuming you just installed it! That would drive me crazy! I'm a paralegal and handle tons of paper all day every day, I don't even usually wear black to work because I get what I call paper dust all over everything! I have had my watch for a week and haven't noticed any of that on the OEM band. I think I really to find a nice bracelet for mine, something like the link or the ML. Thanks for the pics, you've definitely shown me that I don't want a silicon band!

I bought this leather band on eBay last year, I also bought the adapters to match the watch better. Perfect for office hours.

I bought the turquoise, and haven't had much of a lint issue. There is some - but not anything bad at all. And i'm normally particular about that stuff. I honestly expected it to be way worse - it was a happy surprise.

I would think the dark colors would show it worse - the paper lint stuff, but for a cheaper splash of color you can't beat the price!

And having the wrist issues I do have - this one is thinner than the Apple one.

I want an orange one, and need to decide which color - I don't like the Apple orange one that much.... so I might try Tangerine. I'd also really want the stone color. I have no idea why - I just really like it! LOL

I'm just happy there are so many choices!

Here's my current setup with my SG sport, bright blue genuine leather loop with spigen rugged armor case and (badly put on) screen protector - can't be seen normally. i'm a bit of a clutz when it comes to my watches so the spigen and screen protector are a great help. If i want to posh it up i'll either remove the spigen which immediately makes it look smarter and i will use a knock off milanese in black which has a wickedly strong magnet and makes the watch look classy!

how has the rugged armor case worked out for you? I've seen people say the back of the watch gets scratched up with this case, is it true for you?

Literally just arrived. It's light. L
Much better than the sport bands imo. I live in Arizona so this was the choice for summer. I wish I hadn't spent so much on third party bands that are meh. I'd probably like one or two more of these.

First impressions are very positive.

The strap is pretty long. Be ware if you have small wrists. Like if the 42 is a bit larger than it should be you're going to have a lot of band to tuck

Apparently my leather loop was on too tight. Marks.

Yah that's the other one I wanted. The blue leather loop looks excellent on space grey ad this is similar but a bit lighter my guess is it looks excellent I'm having to Apple today I may get one if they have then and I can test it on the pace grey

I picked up the red/gold nylon band at the Shadyside Apple Store this afternoon. They didn't have any in stock for "walk-in" purchases, but there was stock for online orders. Here's an unboxing if you all are interested.

This probably doesn't need to be said again. But oh well. I finally get a black leather loop (second hand ;-) and have been wearing it for a day. I really really like this band. Glad to finally have one as I couldn't justify paying the $150 new. I wish Apple wouldn't price certain items out of many customers' budgets. Especially watch bands.
